Fajardo -- Doroteo "Teo" Fajardo 88, a New Mexico native, went to join the Lord on September 8, 2001. He died peacefully at home in Turlock, California. He was born on February 6, 1913 in Puerto De Luna, N.M. Teo retired from the FAA in 1986. His first wife, Mary Fajardo preceded him in death in August of 1982. Brothers Victoriano and Jose also preceded him in death. His second wife, Dolores Fajardo of Turlock survives him. Sisters; Dolores Solano and husband, Johnny, Nora Padilla and husband, Alfonso and Celina Fajardo survive him. He is also survived by; daughter, Gloria Garcia and husband, Robert; son, Alex Fajardo and wife, Cecilia, son, Eddie Fajardo and wife, Della, son, Rudy Fajardo and wife, Barbara, all of the Albuquerque area, and son, Frederick Fajardo and Robert Daum of Vancouver, B.C. Also surviving him are; grandchildren, Eric Garcia, Marisa Huff and husband, Daniel, Rhonda Fajardo, Michelle Fajardo, Diane Fajardo, Daniel Fajardo, and Evan Fajardo and; great grandchildren, Gabriela and Abigail Huff. He is also survived by; stepdaughter, Juanita Gonzales, stepson, Ed Lucero and wife, Jan, stepson Nick Lucero and wife, Joann, all of Turlock; stepdaughter, Carmen Clemens and husband, John of Sacramento and; stepson, Ricardo Lucero of Seattle. His many step grandchildren will also miss him. Teo loved to be outdoors and working in his garden. He never lost his fondness for New Mexico green chile. He was a hardworking man and devoted father, who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be Thursday, September 13, 2001, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd Street, SW. Rosary will be follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, September 14, 10:00 a.m. Burial follows at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Montano -- Ruben D. Montano Sr., 51, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 8, 2001. Mcdonald -- Mrs. Mary T. McDonald died Sunday, September 2, 2001 at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto P. Lopez on April 5, 2001. She is survived by her stepchildren, Pauline Baldonado, Rosie Fernandez, Albert Lopez, Edward Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Alice Flores, Ernest Lopez Jr., Jerry Lopez and Debbie. Funeral Services for Mrs. McDonald will be held on Thursday at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, where the Communion Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. DAV Chapter 3 will perform the military honors. Candelaria -- Mr. Eddy (Pito) Candelaria, 60, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 1, 2001. Mr. Candelaria is survived by his mother, Julia Garcia; three sisters, Pita Candelaria, Teresa Torres and husband, Enrique, and Frances Candelaria; one aunt, Candy Apodaca; two nephews, Bobby Marquez and Enrique Torres III; two nieces, Angela Torres and Christina Torres; two cousins, Amanda Marquez, and Anthony Marquez; special friends, Garrito Moya, Shorty Chavez, and Rabs; and many other cousins and friends. Moya -- Mrs. Delia Moya, 68, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 31, 2001. Mrs. Moya is survived by her husband, Abenicio (Bennie) Moya of 52 years; three children, Larry Moya and companion, Agnes Sedillo, Johnny Moya and wife, Darlene, JoAnn Barela and husband, Ambrosio; four sisters, Anita Silva and husband, Jesus, Alice Tafoya, Senaida (Ida) Garcia and husband, Efren, Sylvia Garcia; six grandchildren, Johnny Moya Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Louis Moya, Antoinette Moya, Leon Moya, Ambrosio Barela Jr. and Jessica Barela; two great-grandchildren; one uncle, Tomas Saavedra and wife, Theresa; many nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; cousins; and friends. Mrs. Moya was preceded in death by her grandson, Adrian Moya (1986). Mrs. Moya was a member of the Catholic Church. Vallez -- Ms. Lourdes Y. Vallez, 45, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 31, 2001. Ms. Vallez is survived by her mother, Beatrice M. Coriz; four children, Trisha Vallez, Lori Martinez and husband, Gabriel, Edward Vallez Jr., and Valerie Vallez; four sisters; Roseann Guzman and husband, Rodrigo, Carmen Padilla, Edwina M. Baca and husband, Raymond J., and Theresa Candelaria and husband, Joe; four brothers, Anthony Coriz and wife, Frances, James Coriz and wife, Denise, Alfred Coriz, and Ralph Romero and wife, Jennie; six grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Carl, Stephanie, Pearl, and Marissa; fiance, Mike Archuleta; and the father of her children; Edward Vallez. Ms. Vallez was a member of the Catholic church. Varney -- Lawrence (Red) Varney, age 47 , beloved husband, father, son, and brother was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 23, 2001. He is survived by his loving wife Evangeline Varney of the family home; one son, Joseph Varney; his mother Frances Maestas; one brother, Johnny Chavez; and many other relatives and friends. Red will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Visitations will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Vigil -- Ignacio "Iggie" Vigil, 73, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2001 at Northeastern Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM. Ignacio was born on July 29, 1928 to the late Patrocinio and Margarita Vigil and was a lifetime resident of the Las Vegas area. He married Mary Lynn Salazar on August 14, 1950. A life-long Catholic, he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas and of St. George Church in Apache Junction, AZ, and had been active in the OLOS Holy Name Society and Parish Council. Ignacio worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years and retired in 1987 as a postal supervisor. For the past ten years, Ignacio and his wife, Mary Lynn have enjoyed spending their winter months in Apache Junction, AZ where he was an active member of the Roadhaven Tennis and Golf Clubs. He also belonged to square and round dance clubs in Arizona and New Mexico. Mr. Vigil was a member of the BPOE, Lodge #408, for 31 years. He belonged to the Las Vegas Golf Association and enjoyed golfing almost daily. Ignacio and Mary Lynn also enjoyed extensive travels and family camping trips. Mr. Vigil was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Dorothy Vigil; brother, Santos Vigil; sister-in-law, Louise Vigil and brother-in-law, Del Jewell. He is survived by Mary Lynn Vigil, his loving wife of 51 years; his children, Donald Vigil and wife, Martha Jo, of Austin, TX; Daniel Vigil and wife, Becky, of Herndon, VA; Diana Vigil Clevenger of Albuquerque, NM; Dennis Vigil and wife, Dedrea, of Albuquerque, NM; his eight grandchildren: Amaris, Amanda, Adrian, Adam, Aaron, Aidan, Ashley and Audra--who truly were his"pride and joy"; his brothers, Johnny Vigil of Commerce City, CO; Davis Vigil and wife, Dorothy of Westminister, CO; Joe Vigil and wife, Connie of Las Vegas, NM; Benny Vigil and wife, Josie of Farmington, NM; Alfred Vigil and wife, Carmen of Brighton, CO; his sisters, Marie Jewel of McLeansboro, IL; Lorraine Vigil and husband, Arturo Macias of Las Vegas, NM; his brothers-in-law, Lee Norman Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM; Fr.
