BROWNING -- Caroline Love Browning, 62 of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away on Monday, July 19, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1942 in Lordsburg, New Mexico to Love Richard Jones and Joanna Phyllis Bounds Jones. Mrs. Browning was a member of the Las Cruces Art Guild. She is survived by her husband, John Browning of Las Cruces, NM; daughters, Anita and husband, Donald Lucero of Los Lunas, NM, Phyllis and husband, Ron Cowdrey of Bosque Farms, NM; son John Browning and his companion, Michelle Lente of Los Lunas, NM; grandchildren, Payton Cowdrey, Sterling Cowdrey, Dean Cowdrey, Rohnna Cowdrey, Kyle Lucero, Sarah Lucero, Cassie Lucero, Justine Chavez; her father, Love Jones and sister, Kate and husband, Wayne Saulsberry of Magdalena. Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her, mother Joanna Bounds Jones. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Graham's Mortuary Chapel, 555 W. Amador with Rev. Jim Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery 5140 W. Picacho, Las Cruces, NM. Service arrangements are with Graham's Mortuary.

THEILER-BRADY -- Gladys Mary (Jackie)Theiler-Brady, a resident of New Mexico since 1950, was carried to heaven on July 18, 2004, by God's holy angels. On earth she was a lady; now in heaven she has found her place. The angels sing sweet songs to her in the presence of God's holy face. She was born in Moline, IL, and also lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky. Gladys married her first husband, Ray Theiler, June 13th 1936, in Louisville, KY. They had seven children. In 1950 they relocated to Belen, New Mexico. Ray passed away in 1956. She married her second husband, Andrew Brady, April 25, 1964, in Albuquerque, NM. Andrew passed away in 1990. While living in Belen, she was a member of the St. Monica's Catholic Group. After she moved to Albuquerque, she tutored elementary school children who had reading problems. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend-and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Claire Sears McElhatton Hawkes and her father, Dallas Engstrom Hawkes; five brothers, Dallas, James, Donald and Harold (twins), and Keith; her late husband, Andrew Brady; her first husband, Raymond Paul Theiler Sr.; infant son, John Daniel Theiler. She is survived by four sons, Raymond Paul (Skip) Theiler Jr.; Jim Theiler and wife, Laurie; Jerry Theiler and wife, Christie; Mike Theiler and wife, Sharon, all of Albuquerque; two daughters, Nancy Summet and husband, Jim, of Yakima, WA; Marilyn Feldman and husband, Frank, of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Ruth McGuire, of Albuquerque; sister-in-laws, Agnes Kaufman, of Louisville, KY and Bertie Skvara, of Cleveland, OH; numerous nieces and nephews- and one special nephew, Gene. She had 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Sharon Theiler and Kris Drake for taking care of our mother in her home, and to the staff at Valle Norte Caring Center for their loving care during the last 18 months of her life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 21, 2004 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Catholic Mass will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in our Lady of the Assumption Church, 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Pallbearers are Jay Summet, Lane Theiler, Michael Means, Andy Theiler, John Theiler, and James A. Theiler. SELBY -- Andrew Frazier Selby, 33, died on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 after a year long battle with leukemia. Born on January 30, 1971, he was a life long resident of Albuquerque. He was the webmaster for T-VI for 3 years and previously worked for the city in the Mayor's office and Public Works for 10 years. Andrew was a very talented artist and cartoonist. He loved to express himself through his art to the joy of many. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Frazier Selby. He is survived by his wife, Lori and daughter, Olivia; mother, Nancy; and brother Matt, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends. A celebration of Andrew's life will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Carlisle Plaza Senior Mobile Home Park, 2901 Carlisle Blvd NE. GARCIA -- Donald G. "Lano" Garcia, age 83, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on July 12, 2004. Born in Albuquerque and raised in La Jara, New Mexico, he served in the US Army/Air Force and US Marine Corps. Lano enjoyed life as a rancher and cowboy, and he loved to sing. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Garcia of the family home; children, Valdo Garcia, Carmen Garcia, and Steve D. Garcia; grandchildren, Andres Garcia and wife, Tanya, Christa Lopez and husband, Art, and Adele Garcia; great-grandson, Antonio Lopez; siblings, Rafelita Chacon and husband, Pete, Carlota Eichwald, Joe Garcia and wife, Pita, Demecio Garcia and wife, Rita; 103 nephews and nieces; numerous other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4th and Alameda NW. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2004. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2004, with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Andres Garcia, Art Lopez, Robert Cordova, Noah Roybal, Peter Chacon, and George Eichwald.
