RANDLE -- Johnny Randle, 62, Johnny Randle passed away on October 18, 2003 in Albuquerque. Johnny was born November 25, 1940 in Dallas, TX. Johnny attended culinary school at TVI, and Dallas Community College. He was a barber for many years, and a landscaper for over eight years. Johnny is survived by his wife, Glenda Randle; his daughters, Renecca of Albuquerque, Loriessa of Long Beach, CA; and his sister, Gurlie Cross of Dallas, TX, as well as many others in his extended family. Johnny lived in Albuquerque since 1968. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church, located at 6900 Los Volcanes N.W.; Pastor Doug Willie will officiate. CHAVEZ -- Connie Chavez April 14, 1929 - October 18, 2003 Connie Chavez of Albuquerque died on October 18, 2003 at the age of 74. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Louis Chavez; and daughters, Lisa Lyon, Margaret Medina, Ruth Chavez, Lynn Gutierrez and Paula Chavez; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Claudina Gomez; and two brothers, Johnny Chavez and Albert Chavez. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Chavez; and brother, Ralph Chavez. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. Viewing will start at 11:00 a.m. at Casa Del Rey, 2500 Corona NW, 839-7166, (behind Wal-Mart on Coors & I-40). Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

HERRERA -- Johnny A. Herrera, 58, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 16, 2003. "The Lord is my Shepherd." Johnny is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gloria N. Herrera; daughter, Roseline D. Gabaldon and husband, Alex; son, Jonathan J. Herrera; grandchildren, Ashley Flores, Dylan Gabaldon and Dustin Gabaldon; brothers, Clarence Herrera and David Herrera and wife, Suzanne, all of Albuquerque; and many other family and friends. Mr. Herrera was an active member of the Rio Grande Baptist Church, where he drove a bus to pick up people at nursing homes. He retired from the City of Albuquerque and was employed with Herrera Coaches. Services will be held Monday, October 20, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at Rio Grande Baptist Church, 2121 Gun Club Rd. SW, with Pastor Gerald Wood and Pastor John Boggs officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with Pastor Jeff Carr officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Barela, Moses Chavez, Felix Garcia, E. Edward Rockey, Bob Gibson, Bob James and Kyle Defoor. GOMEZ -- Mrs. Isabelita C. Gomez, 81, beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2003. Mrs. Gomez was a resident of Albuquerque. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Rosa Chavez; her husband, Bennie P. Gomez and a son, Dennis Gomez. Mrs. Gomez is survived by her loving children; one son, Frank Gomez and wife Lillian; three daughters, Gloria Vigil and husband, Tony, Corrine Maldonado; Mabel Tafoya and husband Johnny, all from Albuquerque. Mrs. Gomez is also survived by her grandchildren, Darlene Baca and husband, Raymond, Tony Vigil and wife, Brenda, Dennis Vigil and wife, Sandra, Michael Maldonado and wife, Selina, Valarie Tafoya, Adrian Tafoya and wife, Antoinette, Stephanie and Jennifer Tafoya; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Antonio III, Carlos, Alex, Tynae, Amber, Estevan, Darey, Raquel, Izaiah, Jeramiah and Leslie; two brothers, Willie Chavez and wife, Anita, Pat Chavez and wife Ester all from Magdalena, N.M. and many other family members and friends. Mrs. Gomez was a member of the Catholic Church and her life revolved around her family. She was happiest when they were all together, laughing and enjoying the closeness they shared. A visitation for Mrs. Gomez will be Friday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final visitation for Mrs. Gomez will be Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. HAMILTON -- Ruth Hamilton. Funeral services for Ruth Hamilton, 85, of Lubbock will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2003 at Bacon Height Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Joplin officiating. Burial will follow in Lamesa Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband John. Ar-rangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. Ruth went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2003. She was born in Bells, Texas on February 19, 1918 and moved to Robey in the 1930's. She attended school in Roby and Lamesa and married John Hamilton in 1939. Ruth was the preacher's wife! She served the Lord along side John for 32 years in churches in Texas and New Mexico. Ruth will be remembered for her sweet spirit and love she shared with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by a son, Johnny Harold; a brother, H.B. Everheart; and her beloved husband, John. Ruth is survived by her son, Charles Hamilton and Brian Wood of San Antonio; her brothers, Lee, Clyde and Howard and their wonderful spouses; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2003.
