Connie Chavez April 14, 1929 - October 18, 2003 Connie Chavez of Albuquerque died on October 18, 2003 at the age of 74. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Louis Chavez; and daughters, Lisa Lyon, Margaret Medina, Ruth Chavez, Lynn Gutierrez and Paula Chavez; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Claudina Gomez; and two brothers, Johnny Chavez and Albert Chavez. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Chavez; and brother, Ralph Chavez. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. Viewing will start at 11:00 a.m. at Casa Del Rey, 2500 Corona NW, 839-7166, (behind Wal-Mart on Coors & I-40). Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
