HERRERA -- GAVINO Age 84, born on August 5, 1927 in Manzano, NM, and was the third child of sixteen born to Zenon and Mercedes Herrera, who have preceded him in death, went to sleep in Christ on March 2, 2012. Mr. Herrera is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-two years, Mrs. Ramona Herrera, whom he loved with all his heart. They were married October 29, 1949; daughters, Maryellen Herrera, and Lydia Duran; son, Ron Herrera and wife, Audrey; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters. Mr. Herrera was also preceded in death by his son, Father Ed Herrera; and his brothers, Samuel, Delfin, and Ramon. Mr. Herrera was proud of all his children and grandchildren, and he loved to talk to everyone, to whistle and watching westerns. His favorite jobs were as an Iron worker for 30 years, and as a school crossing guard for twenty years. Visitaion will be Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with a Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Monday at the Church, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner, presider. LOVATO -- ELIZA M. Age 80 of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012, in the loving care and at the home of Maria (daughter), and Richard (eldest son) and wife, Susan, grandson, Richard II, and caregiver, Dorothy Lamb, and her eternal soul is now worshiping Jesus Christ. Eliza was born and raised in Wagon Mound, NM. Mrs. Lovato is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-two years, Louis L. Lovato; daughter, Maria M. Lovato (Madgie); sons Richard T. Lovato wife, Susan, Michael J. Lovato, Paul L. Lovato, Art E. Lovato; brother, Gilbert E. Montoya; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family preceding her in death, are her daughter, Bernadette Lovato; and two infant sons, Michael and Guadalupe; mother, Mercedes Esquibel Montoya; father, Juan E. Montoya; sisters, Estella Perez, Leonora Trujillo, Cecelia Montoya. Eliza was a devoted homemaker who cared for and loved her family. Because of her loving nature she adopted and loved many rescue cats and dogs. She worked briefly for Albuquerque Public Schools. Phillip is survived by his parents, Mickey and Carmen Rodriguez; sister, Lisa Rodriguez; brothers, Michael Rodriguez, and Vincent Rodriguez and wife, Donna; niece, Vanessa Coppola and husband, Richard; grandnephew, Logan Coppola; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and special friends. Phillip was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Debbie; and his nephew, Mickey Michael. Phillip was a member of the Catholic Church, a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and attended colleges along the East and West coasts; he served in the U.S. Navy; and had the opportunity to travel the world. GARCIA -- HELEN Age 70, passed away on January 31, 2012 at 5:09pm. She was born on February 25, 1941 in Taos, NM. She is survived by her four children, Michael and wife Margaret, Lucy and husband Richard, Judy, and Matthew; seven grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Richard, Estevan, Clarissa, Ernest, and Luciano; great-grandson, Estevan II; four sisters and five brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Garcia, and her grandson, Cristobal Gonzales. She was an employee at UNM Hospital for 41 years. Per her wishes, no services will be held. MARTINEZ -- MARGARET Age 98, a life time resident of Albuquerque passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, with her loving family at her side.
