Mallory -- Joyce Mallory, our beloved mother and sister, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2000, after a brief illness. She was born on March 12, 1938 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her son, Michael F. Mallory and wife, Leesa Mallory of Edgewood; daughter, Marleen Mallory of Albuquerque; son, Ronald Mallory of Albuquerque; daughter, Carla Mallory of Albuquerque; and her beloved nine grandchildren, Joseph Freed, William Hyer, Michael Hyer, Eric Mallory, Aaron Hyer, Crystal Freed, Brian Mallory, Calvin Mallory, and Nicholas Mallory; and her sisters, Frances Schultz and Tommy Malcom. She was preceded in death by her two infant children, Sherry Lynn Mallory and David Scott Mallory; grandson, Scott Randall Mallory; and sister, Ruth Schultz. She was and always will be the strength and love for our family and will be missed by all. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Lindrith Baptist Church in Lindrith, NM. Sais -- Mrs. Aurelia J. Sais, 75, passed away Thursday. She was born in San Juan, New Mexico, February 24, 1924 and had been a resident of Los Lunas since 1968. She was a member of the Catholic church. Mrs. Sais is survived by her husband, Joe G. Sais of Los Lunas; son, Isidro Flores Jr. and his wife, Virginia of Santa Fe; daughter, Rebecca Griego and her husband, Norberto of Albuquerque; step-children, Joe Sais and his wife, Judy, Kathy Botran of Albuquerque, Richard and Alvin Sais of Los Lunas; brother, Liberato Jiron and his wife, Matilde of Chino Valley, AZ; and sister, Celia Benavidez of San Juan; grandchildren, Ruth Evans and her husband, Kelvin of Colorado Springs, Mark Griego and his wife, Theresa of Chandler, AZ, Griego Griego of Albuquerque, Johnathan and Kenneth Flores of Santa Fe, Gloria, David, Christopher, Sabrina and Lucas Sais, all of Albuquerque; grandchild, Felicity Evans of Colorado Springs; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit Friday from 12:00 noon at Riverside Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Riverside Funeral Care Center. Private family interment will be held in San Juan. Sisneros -- Steven Martin Sisneros, age 32, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, left us to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2000. He was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He touched so many hearts who loved and knew him. He will be truly missed. He is survived by his parents, Frank and Mable Sisneros; two sisters, Sandy Sisneros and Debbie Sisneros; one brother, Edward Sisneros; a very special nephew, Edward Sisneros Jr.; special maternal grandmother, Eloisa Griego; special aunt and Godmother, Sylvia Griego; and special cousin, Diane Montano. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Funeral services for Steven will be held on Saturday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Martinez, Sammy Griego, David Martinez, Tommy Griego, Michael Griego, and Alex Bazan. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerard Griego, Ronney Martinez, Peter Martinez, Jessie Griego, Gerald Griego, Glen Griego and James Griego. Visitation for Steven will be held on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the Salazar & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Wakefield -- M. Elaine Wakefield, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 19 years, died Monday, January 31, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Walker and husband, Bill; son, George"Tom" Wakefield and wife, Mardie, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Alicia Sandoval and husband, Mike, Melissa Walker, Ryan Wakefield, Kaitlyn Wakefield and Kelsey Wakefield; great-grandchildren, Austin and Shelby. She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Walker, whom she so looked forward to seeing on the other side to give him a grandmother's hug; sister, Barbara Blanchard; and infant daughter, Shirley Wakefield. Mrs. Wakefield worked at the Maine Medical Center for 25 years before moving to Albuquerque where she worked at the UNM Hospital Cancer Research Center. Elaine was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Memorial Services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m., at Encino House - East, 412 Alvarado SE, with Rev. Winfred Walker officiating. Scott -- Patty Sue Scott, a loving wife, devoted mother and proud grandmother, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 30, 2000, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Patty, a resident of Albuquerque for 17 years, was born and raised in Dearborn, MI and graduated from Michigan State University. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David W. Scott; daughters, Cristy Nowak and husband, Philip of Bremerton, WA and Sandra Scott of Austin, TX; son, Kenneth Scott of Key West, FL; grandchildren, Sam, Elizabeth and Andrew Nowak, all of Bremerton, WA; sisters, Sandra Butler and husband, William of Albuquerque, Sheryl Whiteford and husband, Fred of Wildwood, MO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Forrest and Vilroe McGuigan. Patty was an Air Force wife who put her family first and foremost by providing a comfortable, loving home and nurturing care while meeting the challenge of 16 moves in 21 years. She held numerous positions in Officer's Wives Clubs and other volunteer organizations in addition to being a supportive wife during her husband's military and civilian career. When the children left home, she began a working career and following her mother's death, dedicated her life to the aging issues through various professional and volunteer organizations. Patty completed many Master level courses on aging at UNM and earned a Nursing Home Administration license. She was dedicated to her work as Director of Resident Services at The Montebello on Academy and as the President of the Alzheimer's Association, NM Chapter. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and those whose lives the touched. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, February 3, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo Del Norte NE, with Rev. Allen W. McCallum and Chaplain Lemuel Boyles, Col (Ret), USAF officiating. Private interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Stark -- Jodie Ann Stark (nee Gonzales), 29, died Saturday, January 29, 2000, at home after a long illness. She was born April 17, 1970 in Orange County, CA and was raised in Albuquerque. Jodie is survived by her husband, Todd Paul Stark; daughter, Jade Gabriella Stark, both of the family home in Rio Rancho; mother, Grace Brusuelas-Stewart of Moriarty; father and step-mother, Frank S. and Carolyn Gonzales of Albuquerque; sisters, Trudie Gonzales and husband, David Dominguez, Crystal Davis and husband, Jason; brothers, Ruben and Adrian Gonzales, all of Albuquerque, and Joshua Brusuelas and wife, Mariana of Dallas, TX. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends who will remember her gentle spirit and loving concern for all in her midst, as well as her diligent fight against a mysterious illness. Thomas -- A Rosary for Mr. David W. Thomas will be recited Wednesday morning, 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 333 58th NW, with a Requiem Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Final visitation will be at the church after 9:00 a.m. Father Bibeau, Celebrant.
