Julio is survived by sons, Julio Apodaca III and Julian Apodaca; his mother, Kim Garcia; father, Julio Apodaca Sr.; fiancee, Ofelia Becerra; sisters, Adrianne Apodaca, Valerie Apodaca, and Sarah Bates; grandparents, Ralph and Kay Garcia, Georgette Northcutt, and Erlinda Montoya; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. CLAYTON, PATRICIA Born on June 28, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was a loving wife and mother who opened her home with great hospitality to all and a resident of the Albuquerque East Mountain Community for 34 years. She is survived by her longtime faithful husband, Joe Clayton; son, Bob Clayton; son Ray Clayton and wife Noreen; grandson, Shawn Clayton, wife Dacia and great-granddaughters, Ileana and Lauren; grandson, Westly Clayton and wife Jessica; granddaughter, Amanda Clayton; granddaughter, Georgia Clayton. Services will be held at First Spanish Fruit Avenue Baptist Church in Albuquerque on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:00am. There will also be a gathering afterwards at the home of Joe Clayton for a time fellowship and sharing memories, beginning at 2:00 pm.

ELDER, JOCELYN Born on August 12, 1956 in Washington D.C. and passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the age of 56 in her home in Santa Fe. She served in the United States Public Health Service as a registered nurse, and after working as a nurse for 12 years, received her Master's in Counseling and worked as a Psychotherapist. She was surrounded with her family when she passed and is survived by her son, Sean Patrick Wynne; daughter, Sarah Michelle Wynne; sister, Linda Tolerico; her ex-husband, Patrick Wynne; and her dog, Albert. Her memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Church on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

ETLANTIS, RAYLAH Age 57, of Albuquerque, passed Wednesday, April 3, 2013. She is survived by husband, Ken Shaffer; daughters, Maiya Logan and husband, Brandon, Alandren Etlantus and husband, Jose, and Shareena Haly Etlantus Shaffer; son, Niran Etlantus and wife, Caitlin; parents, Bernard and Mary Panfil; grandchildren, Izzabelle, Eden, Colin, and Fletcher; brothers, Barney Panfil and wife, Cindy, Dave Panfil and wife, Susie, Rick Panfil and wife, Chris. Raylah was a member of the Albuquerque Threshold Choir who sings for hospice patients at their bedsides. She was also involved in various women's circles. She became a facilitator in EMDR, helping people with Traumatic Stress Disorder. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside. GARCIA, ELISE (ALICE) VAROZ peacefully entered into eternal rest with the Lord, on Friday, March 29, 2013, with her family members by her side. She will be remembered as a very loving, devoted wife and a dedicated mother. Born in Servietta, New Mexico on February 28,1924 she resided in EI Rita, New Mexico where she graduated from EI Rite Normal School as a Cosmetologist. Alice later became a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for over 65 years. In her many travels, she worked as a nurses aid in Fort Sill, Oklahoma with the elderly and was a manager of a children's nursery in Aschaffenburg, Germany and also taught catechism classes in Kitzingen, Germany. Alice was active in the Non Commission Officers Wives Club and a volunteer of the American Red Cross for many years. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and The Knights of Columbus ladies Auxiliary, also the U.S.O. Junior Hostess Club. As well she was awarded the Presidential Citation for being a dedicated military wife for over thirty years, from the President of the United States. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Sabino Garcia and her son, Federico Garcia. She is survived by her children, Francisco Garcia and wife, Terry of Albuquerque, N.M., Cassandra Snyder and husband, Kevin of Santa Fe, TX.; her grandchildren, Michelle Burns and husband, Darin Lessner of Mesa, AZ., Stacy Wingate of Santa Fe, TX., Alice Garcia and Victoria Garcia both of Alb., N.M., Jason Snyder and wife, Tara Sumner and Alan Snyder and wife, Jaimie, all of Bay City, TX.; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Orr and husband, Chase of Stinnett, TX., Cody Crubaugh and Bailey Bergevin both of Mesa, AZ., Bryane Sikes and husband, Andrew of Santa Fe TX., Ashlyne Bulot and Tristan Bulot both of League City, TX., Makayla Snyder, Cavan Snyder, Colsen Snyder, Jada Snyder and Riley Snyder all of Bay City TX.; great-great grandchildren, Conner Orr and Eila Orr both of Stinnett, TX., Madison Crubaugh and Mia Crubaugh both of Mesa, AZ. and Ava Sikes of Santa Fe, TX. as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. JARAMILLO, KEVIN Age 58, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Flossie and Gilbert Jaramillo. Kevin is survived by three sisters: Tessie Martinez (spouse Ralph), Sally Harrer (spouse John), Valerie Hands (spouse Leo); his two brothers: Martin Jaramillo (spouse Les) and Steve Jaramillo (spouse Ruby); and Claudina Perea and Mary Augustine. KEENE, CHRISTOPHER E. Age 57, passed into our Lord's loving hands on Holy Thursday in Owings Mills Maryland due to natural causes. Chris was a graduate of Assumption Grade School, St. Pius X High School, attended UNM and TVI before accepting employment with AT&T in Maryland. He retired last year after 32 years of service. Chris's interests were in electronics, photography, and especially Formula One Racing. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Timothy Keene and is survived by his love, Nancy Owsley of Reston, Virginia; parents, Frank and Joanne Keene of Albuquerque; brothers, Pat and wife, Debbie of Albuquerque; Jerry and wife, Christine of Truchas, NM; Bill and wife, Stephanie of Austin, Texas; nieces, Erin, Amy, and Kelly Keene and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. KNEEDLER, REX O. SGT, USAF (RET.) 1928-2013 age 84, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He retired as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force after serving for 23 years. He then worked in the copper mines in Arizona, and as a superintendent for Cutler Repaving until 1981. Rex was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Nora Kneedler; parents, Clyde and Bertha Foster Kneedler; daughter, Rita Kathleen Grandstaff in 1995; three sons, Rex O., Jr. In 1969, Rory Shawn in 1981 and Randal Lee in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mary; daughters, Robin Elaine Finlayson of Boca Raton, FL and Ramona Kay Mayle (Richard) of Bosque Farms, NM; sister, Margia Bryant (Eddy); four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. MARTIN, CLARENCE BURL JR. Mr. Martin died peacefully at home on March 23, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Margaret "Peggy" Martin. Curley was survived by his three sons: Gary and wife Janet, Larry and wife Carole, Mark and wife Brenda; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Curley was a paratrooper in the Pacific during WWII. He loved to garden, hike and camp and was a avid woodworker. He was also a charter member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. THOMPSON, GENEVIEVE MOLLANDS Age 95, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, J. Leon Thompson. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Cramer, widow of the late Ray Cramer of Albuquerque and Sandra Thompson, wife of William Thompson of Albuquerque. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. After graduating from the University of New Mexico in 1938, she married Leon and started a family. Although the focus of Ginger's life was her family, she found great satisfaction in serving the community. The highlight of Ginger's public service was serving as President of the Presbyterian Hospital Auxiliary. Being the visionary that she was, she saw the need to inform the public on specific health related issues and was the leader in the founding of TEL-MED. TEL-MED was the first medical education program accessible by phone, utilizing a Voice Response Unit in the State of New Mexico. This program served tens of thousands of people on an annual basis. Ginger was applauded for her accomplishments for this most innovative medical initiative. Ginger was President of the Junior League of Albuquerque for two terms. She was President of the Albuquerque Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Ginger served as advisor to the Albuquerque Youth Council. Ginger was also instrumental in the founding of the Donita program which grew to become the NM Symphony Guild's Senioritas program. As a member of the NM Symphony Board she held numerous positions including Symphony Ball Chairman. She was an active board member of The American Red Cross, Girl Scouts of America and many other organizations which she held close to her heart. Ginger and Leon were members of the First Presbyterian Church. They were also active members of the Albuquerque Country Club where she served as President of the Women's Golf Association. She was twice Chairman of the major golf tournaments. Ginger led an extremely fulfilling and honorable life. A life that was filled with wonderful friends with whom she and her husband traveled the world. But above all, her true passion was her husband and her family. Her love for a good story, well told; a good drink, well served; and good company, well informed - made her a companion of young and old alike. We will all miss her beyond expression. May God rest her soul on the fairways of heaven. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, 11:30 at the First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE. WALDO, CLARENCE RANDALL "RANDY" CAPTAIN USAF, RETIRED Born January 13, 1947, in Long Beach, CA passed away April 1, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM. Randy served in the Air Force for 24 years, enlisting as an airman and reaching the rank of Captain prior to retirement in 1990. While in the Air Force he obtained a B.A. and Masters in Engineering and served in Vietnam. He worked in multiple fields after his Air Force career. A lifetime member of Optimist International, Randy began his affiliation in Jr. High and remained a member until his passing. He devotedly served multiple terms as President of the Albuquerque Sunport Optimist Club, as well as, Lt. Governor and Governor for the New Mexico/West Texas District. He enjoyed traveling, photography, golf, cars, cigars, and dining out with friends and family. He was a lifetime NRA member and instructor. Randy was happily married to the girl next door, Jeanette Davis, for 44 years. He is survived by his wife, and their children and spouses, Kim (Dave) Dalton, Paul (Danyetta) Waldo, Katharine (Mauricio) Rebolledo, and Patty Waldo; grandchildren, Randy, Antonio, Christina, and Phabian; grand-pet, Oso; and his siblings, Don, Paula, and Jaunell. Despite repeated bouts with cancer and other serious ailments, his positive and resilient spirit inspired others and will be remembered by all. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
