ARMIJO, DANIEL 1933-2012 age 79, a resident of Belen, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012. He was born in Belen, moved to California at the age of seven, and returned home after retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He is survived by his children, Rosemary Peralta of CA, Nancy Dominguez and husband John of CA, Daniel Armijo, Jr. of Belen; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A viewing will be at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, Friday, December 21, at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A final viewing will be at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, Saturday, December 22, at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens following services. BALDRIDGE, MARY LOUISE age 82, a native of New Mexico and resident of Anderson, CA, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, CA, following a short illness. Born October 15, 1930, in Seneca, NM, Mary was among nine children of Thomas and Ethel Baldridge. Mary was raised and educated in New Mexico and then resided in the San Francisco Bay Area in her early adult life. She was an accounts manager in Emeryville, CA, then worked as a property manager for several years prior to starting her long career as a medical care provider in Albuquerque. She was a life member of the American Mystical Order of the Rosicrucian's, a creative seamstress and an avid reader of books. She is survived by her sister, Ella Mae McKnight of Felt, OK; nieces Ethel Wohler of Anderson, CA, Rose Mary and husband Sam Crager of Cleburne, TX; nephew Butch and wife Becky Miller of Anderson, CA; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Private interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM.

BREWER, GARY D. JR. age 47, passed away at his home in Edgewood, NM on Saturday, December 15, 2012. He was preceded in death by Ruthie Duggan; brother Dee Bertroch; and sister Gail Wackerbarth. Gary is survived by the love of his life, Teresa Kiefner; sisters, Darla Gobert and Sandy Kuzior; his sons, Gary Dean Brewer III and Brian Moore; and many other family members. He touched many lives and will be missed by many.

FRESQUEZ, ELMER R. 55, a resident of Rio Rancho passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Teresita Fresquez; grandfather, Clemente Espinosa. Elmer is survived by his girlfriend, Anna Marie Valdez of Rio Rancho; daughters: Andrea and husband Brian Dorr of Albuquerque, Candida Fresquez of Los Alamos; mother of his sons, Martha Herrera; sons: Isaiah Fresquez and companion Camille of Espaola, Matthias Fresquez and Adam of Albuquerque and Zachary Fresquez of Espaola; grandchildren: James, Angelina, Jonathan, Adrianna, Fabian, Isaac, Sareyah and Mia; sisters: Patricia Tapia and husband Louie, Yolanda Sandoval, Georgia Griego and husband James; brother, Joseph Fresquez and wife Cynthia all of Albuquerque; four nephews; five nieces; five great-nieces; three great nephews; God-children: Monica Lovato and Jayson Bustos. HENDRIX, ANDREA YVONNE It is with great sadness that the family of Andrea Hendrix announces her passing, following a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the age of 52 years. Andrea was born on January 16, 1960 to the parents of Andy and Serene Hendrix. In her youth, Andrea enjoyed arts and crafts, was an active member of 4-H and participated in youth rodeo. Andrea graduated from Grants High School in 1978. In adulthood Andrea mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, and caring for her beloved pets as she was an avid animal lover. Andrea is survived by her long-time partner of thirteen years, Ray Tharaldsen; parents, Andy and Serene Hendrix; sister, Sandra; brother, Steve; sister-in-law, Christine; niece, Stevie; and nephew, Garrett; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Andrea is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bert and Emma Hendrix; and B. and Lucille Julian. HUTSON, HELEN BLADES age 92 passed away on December 20, 2012 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Clovis, NM. Helen was born on April 24, 1920 in Lequire, Oklahoma to Jim and Carrie Blades. She married Roscoe Hutson on November 28, 1945. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1994. She had no children. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and one nephew, Raymond Kite. She is survived by two sisters: Louise (Toby) Phipps of Clovis, NM; and Peggy Henbest of Rio Rancho, NM; fifteen nieces and nephews: Jimmy Blades and wife Linda, Marie Martin and husband Paul, Ray Blades, Sue Bolin, June Russell, Janie and husband Larry, Bobby Blades and wife Donna, Donald Blades, Cheryl Hatley, Donna Parker and husband Leo, Cindy Garrett and husband Eric, Bill Phipps and wife Lee Ellen, Robin Phipps and D'Shon McCarty and husband Rodney; numerous great-nieces and nephews and one brother in law: Henry Hutson. MAHAFFEY, CARROLL JOE Age 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, went to be with the Lord and "the love of his life," wife Jerri Mahaffey on Monday, December 17, 2012. PAYNE, ORVILLE R. PAYNE "TEENIE" our much loved father, grandfather, friend and companion, was born September 12, 1932 in Romney, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; son, Richard and by his daughter, Bridget, who welcomed him Home on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the age of 80 after a brief illness. Teenie will be greatly missed by his daughters, Vicki Martinez and husband Jeff, Christy Bridges and husband Rocky and by his son and friend, Tim Payne and wife Michelle; as well he will be missed by his seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his many friends from Sombra del Monte Christian Church; his former colleagues at the V.A Hospital and by his constant companion of the last several years, "Tinkerbell". His tailgating partners will miss his sense of fun and his gentle humor. Teenie never met a stranger and was never too busy to lend a hand. An avid Redskins fan, all of his life, and a Lobo Football and Basketball supporter, sports of any kind was his passion. Fishing with his sons and granddaughters, Tishell & Mikaela, gave him particular pleasure in his last years. PUTMAN, WENDELL ARGENE Age 83, passed away on Sunday morning, Dec 16, 2012. Argene was born in Carlsbad, NM, on August 17, 1929. After living for a time in the Long Beach, CA area, Putman moved his family back to Albuquerque's South Valley in 1974 where he remained until his passing. He was married to Darlene Putman for 42 years before she passed away in September 2011. The couple had two daughters, Kaylene Putman Fornoff, Thousand Oaks, CA, and Karece Putman, Rio Rancho. Argene was a proud Teamster and worked and drove for Navajo/ABF Co. for more than 45 years. He retired in 1997. He loved loading up the family in their camper for their annual summer road trips. He also loved boating at New Mexico's lakes, and he also shot a mean game of pool. Friends will remember best his unselfishness. He never hesitated to help others. SCHUESSLER, JOSEFINE J. Josefine passed away after a yearlong battle with Esophageal Cancer. She was in the company of her family when she quietly left us on the morning of December 13th. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Schuessler; daughters Martina Sisneros and Stephanie Kindred; son-in-law Roy Sisneros; grandchildren Cliff Kindred, Alex Sisneros and Angie Sisneros; and her beloved dachshund, Susie, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Josie was a gentle, kind spirit who dearly loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by those closest to her. She was a member of St. Bernadette church. TRUJILLO, VENERANDA S. (BENNIE) born on January 4, 1931 and went to be with our Lord Jesus on December 17, 2012. She is the beloved wife of Ruben E. ZUCKERMAN, ROSALIE of Pittsford NY, passed away on December 17, 2012 in Rochester, NY at the age of 97. She had been ill only a short time and, before that, was still living by herself, driving and going to the gym regularly. She was vibrant and lived life on her own terms. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Max. They are together again, dancing and loving each other. She is survived by her children, Joni Bold and her partner, Marianne D'Amico of Albuquerque, NM and Nancy and Bernard Levine; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her funeral was held in Rochester on Thursday. Joni Bold will be sitting Shiva, at 6600 High Ridge PL, NE on Sunday, December 23rd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm where she will be receiving friends.
