ARMIJO -- Ricardo W. Armijo, 76, loving father grandfather, and native of Albuquerque, passed away on February 2, 2011. He is survived by his sons; Greg Armijo and Dorothy Medina; Donald Armijo and wife Debbie; Martin Armijo; grandchildren; Nicole, Rachel, Michael, Victoria, Vincent, and Stone; one great-granddaughter, Serenity; sister, Reyna Salazar and husband, Frank; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Dina. Ricardo proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 as a physician's assistant in Korea. He was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus for many years. Ricardo retired from the U.S. Forest Service after 31 years. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, and all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at French ~ Lomas Chapel. CANO -- Barbara Samantha Cano, born October 3, 1988, went to be with God on Sunday, January 30, 2011. She is survived by her loving parents, Nicolas J. Cano from Los Lunas, NM and Julie A. Reger from San Diego, California; brother, Brennan Barbieur; sister, Jilyssa Reger; loving paternal grandparents, Armando and Dolores Cano; maternal grandmother, Ruth Bostworth-Sosebee and her husband, Tommy Sosebee, from Waldron, Arkansas; paternal great-grandmother, Rosita Gabaldon; aunt and nina, Rosita Olmstead and her husband, Jeff; aunt, Jenni Craig, and her husband, Phillip; her God daughter, Melissa; cousins, Yvette, Stephanie, Justin, Jessica, Joel, Samuel, Ella, and Lucy; and many cousins, uncles, and aunts too numerous to name. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother (namesake), Barbara Ann Bosworth; maternal grandfather, Thomas H. Bosworth; loving godfather, Jaime R. Gonzales; and paternal great-grandfather, (Tata) Rafael Gabaldon. Barbara was a pre-med student at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), attending her final year of study in Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in social health care issues. She planned on attending medical school thereafter in pursuit of becoming a neurosurgeon. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was also a volunteer for Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA. Barbara was a 2007 Los Lunas High School graduate and a member of the National Honor Society. Barbara was a young and passionate girl. She had high aspirations and believed that she could make a difference in this world, one step at time, as a doctor and as a loving compassionate person. Barbara brought so much joy into this world, especially with her infectious smile and loving spirit. She will be missed beyond time itself but will rest in the arms of God's love forever. Rosary / Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 7:30 p.m., at San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Luna Avenue, Los Lunas, NM 87031. CARREJO -- Billy (Buck) L. Carrejo, 55, a life time resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 6, 2011. Billy is survived by his mother, Theresa Carrejo; sisters, Roberta Jones and husband, Leon, and Pamela (Tweety) Wintermute and husband, Timothy; brother, Frank Carrejo and girlfriend, Jane Chavez; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Willie C. Carrejo and brother, Emil Carrejo. Billy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. CHAVEZ -- Eloisa (Castillo) Chavez, 103, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 in Las Cruces, NM. Eloisa was born on October 6, 1907 in Santa Rita, NM to Sylvester and Manuelita (Chavez) Castillo. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mela Herrera and husband, Jake of Las Cruces, NM; her devoted son, Reyes Chavez and wife, Rita of Albuquerque, NM; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; her two brothers, Sylvester Castillo; and Jose Castillo; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Eloisa was a lifelong resident of New Mexico. She loved gardening, farming, and was an exceptional seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting. Eloisa had a great faith for the lord. And the love she showed to so many was her legacy. Eloisa was preceded in death by her husband, seven brothers, and three sisters. COPELAND -- Janice Day Copeland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Janice grew up and spent most of her life in Columbus, Ohio. Janice lived in Albuquerque her last years with her son Guild and daughter-in-law Noreen, enjoying the company of children, grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren. The family is extremely grateful to all who provided her with loving care, in particular, Jesse Montoya. She was preceded in death by her husband Foster Copeland; parents Joseph and Anna Day; her sister Alice Day Zettler; and brother Robert Day. COX -- Bruce A. Cox, age 58, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, has moved to his castle on Heaven Street on Saturday, February 5, 2011. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and David Cox; brother Ike; sister-in-law, Chris; niece, Savanah; nephews, Paul and Robert; several aunts, uncles and cousins. GARCIA -- Ilene Pamela Garcia, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was born June 15, 1972. Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, companion, granddaughter and friend passed away Monday, February 7, 2011. Ilene will be remembered as a caring and devoted person who was extremely kind hearted, loving and very generous. She was always laughing and her beautiful smile will be truly missed. As well, Ilene cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and her family. She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job in the Medical Field, specializing in Dialysis. JACKSON -- Mary Donelia, March 19, 1945 - February 6, 2011, surrounded by her family. Mary was a very vibrant, outgoing, thoughtful generous person. Mary enjoyed attending special events with her grandchildren. Bingo was also a favorite past time of hers. She treasured her lunch dates at bingo and concerts with her good friends. KUNKEL -- Wayne A. In loving memory July 31, 1928 - February 4, 2011. Dad passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011. Preceded in death by his beloved bride of 50 years Margaret E. Kunkel; two of their three children, John A. and Elaine Marie Kunkel; siblings Helen and three brothers Erwin, Stanley and Harry Kunkel. He is survived by one son James D.; grandson Zachary Wayne; granddaughter, Kristen Renee; and brother Ray Kunkel and family. A decorated Korean War Veteran, Dad retired from the Air Force in 1966. He continued flying until 1971 when a mild heart attack ended his career. He spent the last 20 years as a sheet metal mechanic happily "Bending Tin" for preferred plumbing. Dad was madly in love with his bride and life, believed in the Golden rule and was very personable and social. He loved people and telling his stories from "Waynes World". From five to one Dad, you have no idea how much you will be missed. I love you all. James. MARTINEZ -- Julian Martinez, 28, passed peacefully from this earth on February 3, 2011. He was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He leaves behind his beloved mother, Anna; brothers, Dominic, Chris and Jade; and his sister, Candice. Julian was a great, loving uncle to Katrina Marie, Andre Julian, Dominique Reyes and godson, Amador Marcelino. MCKNIGHT -- Patrick McKnight, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 2002, died Monday, February 7, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan McKnight; four children, Susan Decker and husband, Rob, Teresa Grill and husband, Steve, Michael McKnight and wife, Cheri, and Kathleen Jensen and husband, Brooke; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Charlotte Duborg; and many friends in New Mexico and California. Patrick was born on May 14, 1939 in Portland, OR and joined the United States Navy at age 17. He retired from the Navy with 26 years of service as Master Chief of Seal Team One in Coronado, CA. Patrick was awarded the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars for his service in Vietnam. Patrick was an avid sailor and a charter boat captain. From 1996 through 2000, he and his wife Susan operated Bald Eagle Charters in Southeast Alaska. Patrick was a member of the Albuquerque Soaring Club and a Staff Commodore of Coronado Yacht Club. He had a great sense of humor and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. MILLER -- Marian D. Miller, 76, a long time resident of Albuquerque, died February 8, 2011 following complications from surgery. Marian was born in Dallas, TX to Marion and Myrene McCollum who preceded her in death. Her son Richard Miller, her brother Jim McCollum and brother-in-law George Bujol also preceded her in death. She was a child beauty queen, a gifted Fishback Studio dancer and a graduate of Albuquerque High School. Marian also attended the University of New Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jack, who was the love of her life and shared life's adventures with her. After an award-winning real estate career, Marian and Jack co-founded Miller Insurance and served many for over 20 years. As a child, Marian fell in love with the Pacific Ocean. She and Jack made frequent trips to San Diego and to her spot on the Pacific Beach sea wall. Their last trip was in the fall of 2010 where they stayed for almost a month. They finally visited the Grand Canyon this past Thanksgiving with her son's family. Mrs. Miller is also survived by her children, Stephen R Miller and wife, Julie, Kristi Tinker and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Kelly and Tommy Miller, Michelle and Mark Tinker; her sister, Diane Bujol; and her brothers, Tom McCollum and wife, Barbara, John McCollum and wife, Carola and Mike McCollum. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Rene Bujol, Tara Noonan, Travis McCollum, Tiffany Tesinsky, Bryan McCollum, Elissa Sorenson and Cameron McCollum as well as eight great- nieces and great- nephews; her aunt, Maxine Metz and family. Mrs. Miller was a dear friend to many and particularly close to her friend, Monique Canales. NOBLITT -- Mark G. Noblitt, age 49, a resident of Los Lunas, passed, NM., passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011. He loved hunting, fishing and especially his family. Mark was a self-employed electrical contractor for many years with Glenn Electric. He had an amazing sense of humor and enjoyed working around the house. PEREA -- Herman Ramon Perea, born August 31, 1929, loving husband and father passed peacefully away on February 7, 2011. He worked for Sandia National Labs from 1948-1973 being especially proud of serving for the Office Professional Employee Union. He served in the US army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 - 1952. From 1973 until his retirement he enthusiastically practiced real estate in Albuquerque area. He was a founding member of Holy Ghost Parish and worked in their many ministries including head usher and Lector. Herman was devoted, caring and loving to his family leaving behind his wife of 57 years, Emilia; daughters, Licia, Christina, Lainey, Pauli and his very special granddaughter, Yarrow; sons-in-law, Jose Garcia Davis and Hartwell Briggs; his siblings John, Molly, Eloy, Esther, Clemente and their spouses; his sisters-in-law Mary, Anna and their spouses and his many nieces and nephews that meant so much to him. RAEL -- Florentino A. "Tino" Tino was a loving and caring person who lived life to the fullest. He touched and influenced so many with his music and his positive attitude toward life that he lives on in all of us today. We are certain that he's continuing to bring smiles to those whom he loves in heaven today. Tino was called home to his Heavenly Father on February 6, 2011. Tino was born April 21, 1940 in Albuquerque, NM. Tino graduated from the University of Arizona with a focus in music arts. He served four years in the U.S. Army and then moved to California where he continued his music and began his truck driving career. In 1983 he returned to Albuquerque where he met his loving wife, Gloria. Tino was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Paulita Rael and Isias and Martina Martinez; sister, Angie and brother, Isias. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria of 27 years; children, Moses Trujillo, Sam Trujillo and wife, Janet, Ken Trujillo, Sandra Brewster, Rudy Rael and wife, Pearl, Jerry Rael and wife, Carla, Diane Mora; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Jake and wife, Lorraine, Ernest, Edward; sisters, Irene and husband, Charlie, Lisa and Libby; special aunt and uncle, Florence and Sig Mora and many other relatives and friends who will love and miss him. Tino lived life to the fullest and touched many lives with his music. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Cubs and the Lobos. Tino will be greatly missed by his loving family and many, many friends. TRUJEQUE -- Elisa G. Trujeque passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2011 at the age of 88. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her son Ralph P. Trujeque; and husband Pete B. Trujeque. Elisa is survived by two sons, Gabriel Trujeque, wife Kim, and Michael Trujeque, wife Dorothy; and daughter Mary Lou Buentiempo; grandchildren: Joseph and Melanie Trujeque, Hilda Bencomo, Clarissa and Chris Garcia, Liz Trujeque, Amanda and Justin Williamson, all of New Mexico, Deborah and Manuel Lopez of CA, Cheryl Vara of CA, and Camille and Mitchell Hunter of Las Vegas, NV; She has numerous great-grandchildren. WELCH -- Frances Arena Welch, age 84, died February 7, 2011. Frances was born February 21, 1926 in Scandia, KS. At the time of her marriage to Sgt. Wayne E. Welch on November 15, 1945 in Valparaiso, IN she was employed by Trans World Airlines at Midway Airport, Chicago, IL. Frances and husband Wayne have been residents of Albuquerque since 1948. Prior to the birth of her children she was employed b y Sandia National Labs. Frances is survived by her husband Wayne; daughter Rebecca C. Welch of Albuquerque; son Jeffery M. Welch and wife Theresa of Springfield, VA; grandchildren Shannon, Kathleen, Dominique and Ryan; and great-granddaughter Alexes. Frances has been a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
