BOWEN -- Mahota R. Bowen, 86, a resident of Los Lunas, died Saturday, January 3, 2009. She was born November 10, 1922 in House, NM. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Caruthers; daughter, Betty C. McDaniel; grandson, Travis McDaniel; granddaughter, Angi and her son, Brandon; and brother, V.A. Robertson. At the age of five, the first of 24 nephews and nieces was born. There are many great-nephews and great-nieces, and many great-greats. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her father, J.A. Robertson; mother, Estella B. Robertson; sisters, Edith R. Beevers, Alma R. Herber, Faye R. Wallace, Lois R. Findley and Algerene R. Krenkel; and brother, J.M. Robertson. On September 7, 1969, Mahota and Herbert J. Bowen were married. The family now includes Leland Bowen, Mary Nell B. Daughtrey, Herb's children; Bryan Bowen and Karen Bowen, Leland's children; Rachel and Kevin Daughtrey, Mary's children. She was also great-grandmother to the children of Bryan, Rachel and Kevin. Services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. CARRICK -- Paul D. Carrick Paul was born July 5, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois. Paul passed away at home with his family by his side January 1, 2009. He was 56. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he graduated Highland High School and was Branch Manager of Tricor Braun. He is survived by his son, Daniel R. Carrick and Daniel's Mother, Siobhan Carrick; Mother, Marjorie Carrick; and Brother, Robert Carrick. He was preceded in death by his Father David Carrick. He is sorely missed by his many friends and family. He is now at peace and out of pain. We all love and miss you so very much! A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at the Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village Chapel, 5201 Roma Ave. SE in Albuquerque.

GALLAGHER -- Thomas E. Gallagher, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away December 26, 2008, leaving wife Joan Gallagher, ex-wife Sandra Eno Gallagher; sister, Nancy Nettles; brother-in-law, Allen Sayler (Vanessa Kasero); children, Kathryn McManus (Matthew McManus), Thomas S. Gallagher, Lester Gallagher, John Gallagher and Leslie Grisham. HERRERA -- Alberto A. Herrera, age 81, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, was called home by the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2009. Visitations will be this evening (Monday) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. LAUMBACH -- Carmen J. "Connie" Laumbach, 69, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009. She is survived by her children, Juli Palladino and husband, Anthony Fischer, Nick Palladino and wife, Margaret, Tony Palladino and Laura Gray, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Michael and Anthony Palladino; her father, Casimiro "Ike" Laumbach, 95 years; sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Cesaretti and husband, Lester; nephew and niece, Michael and Amy Cesaretti. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Laumbach. Connie was born on the Bell Ranch near Tucumcari, NM and later moved to Albuquerque. MARSHALL -- Phyllis Darlene Buske Marshall, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, age 71, passed away peacefully in her home on January 1, 2009. Phyllis was born on February 15, 1937 in Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Inez Buske, brothers Richard Buske and William Buske, and sister Janet Mathews. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Robert Marshall; children, Michelle Snow and husband Jim, and David Marshall; two grandchildren Taylor and Jeremy Snow, all of Albuquerque, NM; sister Barbara Stuve and husband Bob, brother Don Buske and wife Kay all of Rochester Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Margaret Powell and husband George of Clovis, NM, and Maxine Dinwiddie and husband George of Reno, NV. MONTOYA -- Albert "Veto" Montoya, 81, born in Dawson, NM, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary Alice Montoya; son, Anthony Montoya and wife, Connie; daughters, Gloria Montoya, Terese Peralta and husband, John, Darlene Montoya and husband, Chris, Valerie Jaramillo and husband, Damian, and Kathy Montoya and Andy Molina; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Trujillo; brother, Fred Montoya; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pat Caraveo; parents, Antonio and Teresita Montoya; and sister, Stella Esquibel. Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Rosary will be recited Monday, January 5, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. WILLIAMSON -- Theresa Elaine Durler Williamson, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008. With the love, care and support of her husband of 57 years she fought a long and valiant battle with cancer. Her strength and resiliency was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Charles "Chuck" Williamson; children, John Walter Williamson and wife Susan, Rebecca Williamson/Monette and husband John, Charles Michael Williamson and wife Debra, Debora Lea Williamson/Griffin and husband Bill; grandchildren Christopher and Mikal Monette, Kevin and Caitlin Williamson, and Kayla and Kyle Williamson; sister Mary Ann Jacobson; niece Sharen Durler Pflughoeft; nephews Stanley, Steven and Michael Durler, Paul Jacobson and numerous other relatives and friends. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents John and Marguerite Durler; brother John Durler; and sister Peggy Higgins. She married Charles J. Williamson in 1951 and lived in Los Alamos, NM before moving to Albuquerque. She worked for Mountain Bell for 41 years until her retirement in 1993 as an assignment engineer. She was a member of the Pioneers retirement group. Her true love in life was her grandchildren. Theresa enjoyed following their athletic and academic achievements. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Prayer Service will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Monday, January 5, 2009, 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
