MONTOYA -- Albert "Veto" Montoya, 81, born in Dawson, NM, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary Alice Montoya; son, Anthony Montoya and wife, Connie; daughters, Gloria Montoya, Terese Peralta and husband, John, Darlene Montoya and husband, Chris, Valerie Jaramillo and husband, Damian, and Kathy Montoya and Andy Molina; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Trujillo; brother, Fred Montoya; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pat Caraveo; parents, Antonio and Teresita Montoya; and sister, Stella Esquibel. Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Rosary will be recited Monday, January 5, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Road NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
