LAROSSA -- Judy Kay LaRossa, 62, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at her home. She was born September 5, 1945 in Marshalltown, IA, a daughter of Wesley and Gladys Sebetka. She married Robert LaRossa February 14, 1970 in North Hollywood, CA. Survivors include her husband of Corrales; one son, Mario and his wife, Jessica of Albuquerque; grandchildren; Nikos and Kyra. Also surviving are her father of Iowa; two brothers and one sister, Wesley Sebetka, Linda Kubu, and Steven Sebetka, all of Iowa. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Ennichement will follow the Services. MARSHMENT -- Lucille Marshment, age 92, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on October 14, 2007. She was born on May 25, 1915 and grew up in Dayton, OH. Lucille retired from the Piqua City School System in 1980. She was a Jennings Scholar for the 1971-1972 school year, recognizing her as a high performing teacher. She was a 1933 Steele High School graduate and a 1969 Wright State graduate. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Karoline and James Matejovsky; her husband, Bert Marshment; and her son, B. Allen Marshment. She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Marshment) Henry of Albuquerque, NM; her son, Richard Marshment of Norman, OK and spouses; four grandchildren, Lisa (Marshment) Shivers and spouse, James Marshment, Gregory Marshment, and Sarah Marshment; two great-grandsons, Kyle and Luke Shivers; daughter-in-law, Linda Marshment; and a host of family and friends who adored her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive in Vandalia, OH. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. OLESKO -- Evangeline "Mona" Weinlein Olesko, 92, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Friday, October 12, 2007. She is survived by her son, John Weinlein and wife, Barbara of Cedar Crest, NM; grandchildren, Kirt Weinlein, Sharon Pearson and husband, Marc; three great-grandchildren, Stacia, Justine, and Skylar; sister, Mabel Mason of Hartford, WI; and several other relatives and friends. Mona was preceded in death by her husband, John Olesko; three children, Erna, Bill, and Teresa; brother, Earl; and sister, Margaret. She was born in Hartford, WI on August 16, 1915 to Edward and Amanda Foelske. Mona worked for Mill Print in Milwaukee for over 20 years and retired at the time she moved to Albuquerque in the late '70s. She enjoyed life, loving to sew, garden, play blackjack in Vegas, and read, until she lost her sight. Mona was a loving mother, grandmother and Gigi to her great-grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday, October 16, 2007, 5:00 p.m. with Pastor John Timothy Plump officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Milwaukee, WI. ROBERTS -- Kenneth "Ken" Pike- Ken lost his struggle with his health concerns on Thursday, October 11, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jane, living in Montebello. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Jones, and husband, Mack of Columbia, MO, and three special nieces; Margaret Shull of Warrensburg, MO; Elizabeth Anderson, of Shaker Heights, OH; and Bronwen Ashburn of Johnson City, TN. Born in Bloomington, IN on July 21, 1921 to Byron D. and Laura Ann Pike Roberts. He lived in Fairfield, IA until 1930 at which time he moved to Las Vegas, NM and in 1950 he moved to Albuquerque. During World War II he was an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and instructed cadets in acrobatic flying for several years. On graduation from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, IA in 1942, he created and funded four scholarships for young men who were interested in science. Ken had graduated with a Physics Major and a Math Minor. Following graduation and his move to Albuquerque he entered into his business life of Insurance and Real Estate. Ken was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque, helping to create The Endowment Foundation of the Church. Ken was also very active in the Shriners, holding many of the offices and being Master of Ceremonies for about 50 years. He was also elected to the House of Representatives for New Mexico in 1962. A major hobby has been his interest in oil and watercolor painting as well as sculpture. For six years he was invited to show his sculptures in a national show in Loveland, CO. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated for The Endowment Foundation of the First Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque, 215 Locust NE, 87102 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children at 3160 Geneva Street, Los Angeles, CA 90020. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow in due course at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque, 215 Locust NE, 87102. French Mortuary is in charge. SIEGENTHALER -- Loy Sue Siegenthaler, a friend and support to so many people, died peacefully in her sleep, Friday evening, March 23, 2007. Loy, throughout the years worked for APS as a teacher, counselor, and psychologist. She particularly loved the time spent doing education workshops in Taos and around New Mexico. She was an active participant with organizations that worked for human rights and dignity. She never tired of reminding us all to take personal responsibility for our lives and for what we saw happening around us. A Celebration of her life, with lots of stories and food, will be held Sunday, October 28, 2007, 1 p.m., at the Mabel Dodge Lujan House in Taos.
