ADAMSON -- Sherese Elizabeth Adamson, 36, a child of God, beloved daughter, loyal sister, devoted friend, and adoring Aunt, died May 26, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. It was a battle with an opponent that she defeated more often than not, forever emerging pure of heart and soul. She will be welcomed to Heaven by her mother, Gail Adamson and her grandparents, Kenneth and Ruby Adamson, and Harold and Elizabeth Bradford. She is survived by her father, Gary Adamson; her sister, Rona Gomez; and her brothers, Ryil, Theran, and Shane Adamson. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Jaime Gomez, and her sisters-in-law, Pauline, Carrie, and Beata Adamson. She is survived by her nephews, Dominic and Diego Gomez, Dylan Adamson, and Tavin Adamson. She is survived by her nieces, Gracie Gomez, Jaden and Kyra Adamson, and Ilyse Adamson. She is survived by many friends, with whom the bonds of love were so strong; they will always be considered family. Finally, she is survived by many other family members, who will always be considered friends. Sherese handled her illness as she handled her life: with love and honesty, with grace and generosity, with laughter and with tears. She was favored by all her knew her. She was our sunshine. ARCHULETA -- Rudolfo "Rudy" 75, passed away May 24, 2007 at his home in McIntosh, NM. Rudy was born to Jose and Enemesia Archuleta on August 26, 1931. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Enemesia; and a brother, Jesus. Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 55 yrs., Alice of McIntosh, NM; Katherine Funk and husband, Daniel; Rudy Jr. and his wife, Debra; Debbie Hicks and husband, Allen; Helen Montoya and husband, Steve; Jacob and wife, Renee; Karen Maes and husband, Frank; 12 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren; two brothers; six sisters; and numerous nephews and nieces. A Rosary will be recited May 29, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 215 Girard in Moriarity, NM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Father Young officiating. BACA -- Rose Q. Baca was born April 15, 1929 in Bernalillo, NM to Vicente Quintana and Carmelita Sandoval Quintana. She passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Rose ran Rosie's Hamburger Stand for 35 years with her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Baca "Chago" and her grandson, Vincent Baca Jr. Rose is survived by her two sons, Vincent Baca and wife, Elsie, Robert Baca and wife, Barbara; one daughter, Helen Baca; nine grandchildren, Vincent, Steven, Robert, Gary, Mark, Nelda, Crystal, Leanna, and Paul; 16 great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. BERGEN -- John Joseph Bergen (retired) Professor of Spanish, Department of Spanish and Portuguese, University of New Mexico, of Albuquerque died on May 21, 2007 in the University of New Mexico Hospital. Dr. Bergen was afflicted with a rare, complex, and aggressive fast moving strain of T-Cell lymphoma. John's illness was diagnosed in mid-February 2007. He had been undergoing treatment at the U of NM Hospital Cancer Center since then and was hospitalized there for most of the last three months. John was born in Carbondale, PA on September 14, 1939. He graduated from St. Agnes HS in Towanda, PA in 1957. In 1961, John received a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Modern Languages from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. During his undergraduate years, he was also in residence studying at the University of Madrid in Spain. Commissioned in the Field Artillery in the US Army Reserve, his two years of service were at Fort Sill, OK and Fort Jackson, SC, where he was promoted to First Lieutenant. Following military service, John was awarded a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics from Cornell University in 1963. Continuing on, he received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Hispanic Languages and Literature from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1971.Dr. Bergen joined the faculty of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 1969 as an Assistant Professor of Modern and Classical Languages. He and his wife, Linde Schleelein, moved to Albuquerque that year. Eric, his son, and Karen, his daughter, were both born in Albuquerque. Prior to that, he had teaching assignments at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA and Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. In 1992, John assumed the position of Professor of Spanish in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Bergen's Curriculum Vitae shows comprehensive contributions and accomplishments to the education and development of innumerable U of NM students over nearly four decades in a broad range of both educational and social fields. A brief synopsis of some of the highlights of his distinguished academic career follows: During his tenure at U of NM, Dr. Bergen taught a wide variety of Spanish courses, edited two books in coordination with Georgetown University Press in Washington, DC, contributed chapters in other Spanish Language books, published several articles in Professional Journals, reviewed other Spanish publications, invited a series of Published Abstracts, and had Creative Works to his credits. Over the years, he directed numerous Doctoral Dissertations, read many others, presented scholarly papers, and was invited for numerous other presentations in the area of Linguistics. John was continually involved as a consultant, panelist, and interviewer for other Universities, Associations, conferences, government agencies, and societies. He also held positions on a wide variety of committees and faculty administrative services at the University of New Mexico. John retired from the University of New Mexico in May 1999. Over the past years, he has served as Professor Emeritus in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and has participated in various projects and studies. Dr. Bergen is survived by his son, Eric, of Albuquerque; a sister, Jane Marie Bergen, of Alexandria, VA; a brother, COL James P. Bergen, of Annandale, VA.; three nephews: Michael of Troy, NY, Christopher of Springfield, VA, and Andrew of Phoenix, AZ. John has a long list of friends and admirers in Albuquerque, especially his closest friend, Susan Erbe of Albuquerque, and a host of others from his many years at the U of NM and his years at other educational institutions and in community involvement. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 30, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a rosary, at the French Mortuary at 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery following a Funeral Mass at Sangre de Cristo Roman Catholic Church at 1030 on Thursday, May 31, 2007. Interment will be next to his wife, Linde, who passed away in 1994, and his daughter, Karen, who died in 1986. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him. BREWER -- LaVerne Herbst Brewer, 80, lost her long battle with cancer May 23, 2007. LaVerne was born August 29, 1926, in Houston, Texas, to Eddie and Vera Herbst. She graduated from Denver University where she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She married Lial W. Brewer on June 13, 1949 in Fairfax, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lial and all her siblings: Charles Herbst, Edward Herbst, and Yvonne Carleno. LaVerne is survived by her three children and six grandchildren: Linda and Kerry Barton, and their sons, Cameron and Tyler; Steve and Catherine Brewer, and their daughters, Leslie-Anne and Sarah; Michael and Kathy Brewer, and their children, Jaclyn (and husband, Jade) and Shaun. LaVerne was not only an amazing mother and grandmother but a teacher, medical technologist, and Realtor. She touched so many lives in her eighty years. She taught at Denver University and the University of New Mexico. She worked as a medical technologist in Denver, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Ohio and Albuquerque. She got her real estate license in 1977. After Lial retired in 1983 they moved to Ruidoso, NM. LaVerne excelled as a Realtor in Ruidoso by catering to people drawn to the beauty of mountains. After Lail's death in 1997 she decided to move back to Albuquerque to be near her family. She shared many good times with her children and friends during those years back in Albuquerque and did Volunteer work for many organizations. She was an inspiration even to strangers she met. Her belief was as long as you can laugh life is worth living. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Hromas, Jan, and especially to all the wonderful nurses who cared for LaVerne with such compassion. She will be dearly missed by many. She always thought of others before herself, therefore, her family requests that her friends make a donation in her name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3411 Candelaria NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. BUSSELL -- V. Opal Bussell, 84, a resident of Albuquerque for 57 years, passed away on May 22, 2007. Mrs. Bussell is preceded in death by her husband, Arbie. CHAVEZ -- Manuel Chavez, 83, of Albuquerque passed away on May 22, 2007 in Albuquerque. Manuel was born on August 20, 1923 in Raton, New Mexico to Felipe and Pablita Paiz Chavez. During his childhood he resided in Raton. Being very patriotic, Manuel joined the US Army at the age of 16 years and was a survivor of the December 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor attack. He was involved in four beach landings while serving overseas in WWII. He received Commando training in Australia and was discharged as a sergeant. After the military Manuel worked in the coal and uranium mines in the Raton area. In 1951 he moved to California and resided there until 1995. While in California he worked as a foreman in construction industry and was a very successful nightclub owner. Manuel was a very devoted Husband and Father and is survived by his wife Clara, his daughter Mary Canizales and husband Saul, two sons Manuel and Arthur, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great- grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday May 29, 2007, with a Vigil service and Rosary at 7:00 PM at Reflections Funerals and Life Celebrations Chapel 2400 Washington St. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 AM on Wednesday May 30, 2007 at St. Joseph’s on the Rio Grande with burial to follow at 1:00 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors. CULLEN -- Kenneth A. Cullen, Jr., 70, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at his home in Albuquerque. He was born September 26, 1936, in Oak Park, IL. Mr. Cullen was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth A. Cullen, Sr., and Ruth Cullen. He graduated from Glenbard High School, Glen Ellen, IL, in 1954. Mr. Cullen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1958 and his law degree from the University of Illinois in 1965. He was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, serving as an Officer of Naval Intelligence assigned to the U.S.S. Hornet, Long Beach, CA, and Algiers Naval Station, New Orleans, LA, from 1958 to 1962. Mr. Cullen practiced law in Albuquerque for 40 years. Previously, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge David Chavez, New Mexico Supreme Court in 1965-1966. In 1990, Mr. Cullen was a founder of the Maid Brigade franchise in Albuquerque with Priscilla Silva and her daughter, Jo Anna Silva. The franchise is still in operation today. Mr. Cullen attended First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Marica Cullen; granddaughter, Kristin Anne Cullen, all of Springfield, IL; a brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Paula Cullen, of Princeton, NJ; and several nephews and cousins. ERDAL -- Bruce R. Erdal, 67, a longtime resident of New Mexico, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007. He is survived by his aunt, Lillian Madson of Albuquerque; uncle, Arnold Erdal of McIntosh NM; cousins, Naoma "Nome" Greiner and husband, Larry of Albuquerque, Gayle Greiner of Dallas TX; a wonderful friend of many years, David Janecky and family of Los Alamos. Dr. Erdal was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Erdal. He retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory after many years. He had also worked for the University of Iowa, Brookhaven National Laboratory and CERN in Switzerland. Bruce received his Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis and his Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Mexico in Chemistry and Music and he graduated from one of the earliest classes at Highland High School. Dr. Erdal was an eleventh generation New Mexican through his mother's side, the Hubbell Family. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be announced in Los Alamos. GRAY -- Dorothy Mae Gray, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 in Prescott, AZ. She is survived by her son, Larry D. Gray and wife, Linda of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Kathy Nelson and husband, Jeff of Palm Bay, FL; grandson, Larry D. Gray Jr. and wife, Kathleen of Surprise, AZ; granddaughter, Michelle Houston of Peoria, AZ; grandson, David Nelson of Tallahassee, FL; and granddaughter, Kathryn Nelson of Gainesville, FL; brother, James Bowen of Bellevue, MI; and sister, Libbie Farley of Indianapolis, IN. Dorothy is also survived by her second love, John Geibel and his family, who brought joy and happiness into her life the past 19 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, L.D. "Dee" Gray. Dorothy was a businesswoman who took over the family business when Dee went to work at Kirtland Air Force base. After the business was sold, Dorothy was cherished by working mothers as she took care of the babies at the Kirtland Air Force Base Childcare Center for almost twenty years. Her skills and love for children was recognized with numerous awards and by grateful parents. Dee and Dorothy were instrumental in the successful move of the AA Heights Club. HOFFMANN- -- Margaret Hoffmann, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on May 23, 2007. Ms. Hoffmann was born on March 21, 1924 to Elias and Lona (Kaufman) Hunn of Furth Bayern, Germany. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Hoffmann, and granddaughter, Summer R. JONES -- Donald F. Jones of Scottsdale, AZ passed away May 4, 2007. He was born in St. Joseph, MO, February 26, 1917. Don was a resident on Albuquerque, New Mexico for 40 Years. He was the founder and entrepreneur of the transportation line, Roadrunner Enterprise, Inc. He sold the business and retired becoming a full time resident of Scottsdale, AZ. Don loved the great outdoors and spent many wonderful hours playing golf, fishing, hunting, and four wheeling with family and friends. Don is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Florence B. Jones; two daughters, Donna Jones Dean and Sherry Jones Martin; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held with Father William Day Presiding. KATZ -- Herbert "Herb" Katz, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979 passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007. He is survived by his wife Susan M. Brand; son Arthur Katz; daughters Francine Zelnik and husband Joel, Stephanie Kobrin; stepdaughters Ramona Brand and Amy Brand; grandchildren Elizabeth, Mark, Aaron, Sara, Rebecca, Alan, Hannah, Ryan, and Sofie; Sister Shirley Friedman and husband Ben and many special friends who fondly referred to him as "The Old Yankee". LAYNE -- Ethel Anne Layne, age 84, passed away in Lake Zurich, IL on May 12, 2007. She was born on October 7, 1922 in Orillia, Ontario, Canada, moving to Ferndale, MI as a teenager. Anne was a 33 year resident of Albuquerque recently moving to Illinois. She was a longtime member and active participant in the Albuquerque chapter of the American Business Women's Association. She enjoyed going out with her friends and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. LUERAS -- Anna. On May 23, 2007 our beautiful and wonderful mother Anna Lueras, born July 26, 1922, went to be with Our Lord and to be reunited with our father, Espirion Lueras, and her beloved grandson Vincent Jewel Lucero in Heaven. She was a loving mother to Phyllis Beck, Gloria Lucero, Betty Fountaine, Martin Lueras and Ernie Lueras. She was the beloved "Grandma" to 17 grandchildren and "Nana" to 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Bennie Soto and Beatrice Candelaria survive her. Other special people in her life were David Beck, Jerry Fountaine, Raul Medina, Dolores Brito and Cynthia Valdez, as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Anna was a happy and joyful person who really enjoyed life. Her pride and joy were her children. Mom we will miss you; but we know you are with us always. MIGUEL -- Charles Napela Miguel, 58 of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home after a brief battle with cancer on May 23, 2007. He was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a young man, he was a decorated combat veteran during the Vietnam War. In 1977 he married Juanita Ruiz and later that year was blessed by the birth of his only child Nicole. He moved his small family to Albuquerque in 1978. After 19 years of dedicated service he retired from General Electric. He then helped his son-in-law establish Cordray Electric where he took pride in his position as a warehouse manager. Charles found great joy and comfort in his new found faith in the Mormon Church. He loved the beaches in Hawaii and later fell in love with snow skiing on the mainland. He was a camera enthusiast, a trivia buff, and an avid gardener. He is survived by daughter, Nicole Leimamo Cordray; son-in-law, Gary Cordray; grandchildren, Alexa Brooke, Ryan Kai and Dylan Kekoa; brother, Jason of Honolulu; sisters, Avis-Ann of Honolulu and Shirleen Johnston of Albuquerque; and former spouse and best friend, Juanita Miguel. His extended "Ohana" consists of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. MILLS -- Mary Marjorie "Marge" Mills, 88, of Albuquerque, peacefully passed away on Fri. May 18, 2007. She was born Feb.7, 1919 to Alice and Edward Barnett in Waynoka, Ok. She married James Robert "Bob" Mills on Dec. 24, 1938, They lived in Enid, Ok. after WWII and later settled in Willcox, Az. where Marge began a career in insurance. She relocated to Phoenix in 1980, and in 2003 moved to Albuquerque to be nearer to family. Marge was a skilled gardener and an avid sports fan. She enjoyed working crosswords in ink, crochet, embroidery, and other fiber arts. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her pioneer spirit, no-nonsense country wit, dry sense of humor, and engaging story telling style. Marge took deep pride and pleasure in her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Lucille Converse, an infant brother; half-brothers; one half-sister; three brothers-in-law; three nephews and a niece. She is survived locally by her daughter, Mary Jo Lovick and husband, Peter Rand; and granddaughter, Heather Tolley and husband, Jeff. MONTANO -- Jerold G. Montano, 41, died suddenly from a massive heart attack, Friday, May 25, 2007. Jerold was born in Taos, NM on April 5, 1966 to Joe and Betsy Montano. He is survived by his son, Trevor Joseph Montano of Oak Park, CA. Mr. Montano lived in California until a year ago so he could be near his son growing up. He is also survived by his parents and his brothers, Richard Montano and wife, Pam and Chuck Montano and wife, Martha; and his nephews and nieces, Ava Grace Montano, Bryce Montano, Micalene Cleavinger, Tori Montano and Seth. Special acknowledgement to Joshua Montano and Jessica Montano, his nephew and niece, who did everything they could to keep him with us, Thank you! RADER -- Don C. Rader passed away on May 23, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer (to his family he was Superman). He was born in Goodland, KS to Oletha and Lester Rader. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Delvin Rader. Don grew up in Santa Fe, NM, from the time he was three years old. After graduating from high school he joined the Navy. After an honorable discharge in 1952, he attended technical school in Los Angeles, CA. He retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1993. He and his wife, Joanne spent the next 10 years in their mountain retreat in Forest Lakes, Bayfield, CO. They moved back to their beloved NM in October of 2005. Don was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was an accomplished pilot, flight instructor, and handyman extraordinaire. Don was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Los Alamos, Durango and Albuquerque (Brother Mathias Barrett Council 10560) , and a past member of the Lions Club of Bayfield, CO. He was a volunteer fireman for the Upper Pine Fire Department in Bayfield, CO, and eventually served on the Board of Directors. He was awarded Volunteer Service Award for recognition and dedication to the Fire Department in 2000. Don worked his dream of a lifetime job for the Great Divide Outfitters in Bayfield as a wrangler and hunting guide. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 1/2 years, Joanne; son, Jack (Kathy); daughters, Carol (Kelvin), Carol (Kirk), Julie (Russ); his sister, Shirley Smith (John). He is survived by grandsons, Jason, Jerrod, Robert, Keith, Kris, Jesse, Collins; granddaughters, Kayla and Leslie; and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Don was a very caring individual and would do anything for gamily friends, and neighbors. He was dearly loved by his family and many friends. SMITH -- Mary Ann Smith passed away on May 25, 2007. Mary Ann is survived by Roy her loving husband of forty-two years whom she met and married in Alaska. TERWILLIGER -- Anna Mae Terwilliger passed away peacefully March 7, 2007. She was born in Parsons, KS, December 13, 1911. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 1/2 years, A. Richard (Dick) Terwilliger; her parents, Ethel and John Gabriel; and her sister, Emogene Chrisman. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wormeli and husband, Paul of Reston, VA; her daughter, Martha Meister and husband, David of Albuquerque; her grandsons, Richard Wormeli and wife, Kelly of Herndon, VA, Benjamin Wormeli and wife, Natalie of Davis, CA, John Meister and wife, Margaret of Albuquerque, James Meister and wife, Christina of Germantown, MD; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lynn Wormeli, Laurel and Jake Meister, and Nadia and Helena Meister. Anna Mae taught in a one room country schoolhouse for three years. Married on July 23, 1936, Anna Mae and Dick moved to Santa Fe, where Dick taught at the Allison-James Presbyterian Mission School. Their life continued to Drexel, MO and Urbana, IL from 1940 until 1947, when the family moved back to Albuquerque, NM. Anna Mae has lived her last 13 years at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village, where she had many good friends and loving care. Church and family were the guiding forces in Anna Mae's life. She was a loving, supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 60 years. There she served as a Deacon for several years and was Chairperson of the Deacon Board. She also was a member of Mariners and the Women's Association. Anna Mae participated in Eastern Star for many years, and was a member of the Masonic Widows after Dick's death. She delivered Meals on Wheels in Northeast Albuquerque for over 20 years. Anna Mae loved to play Bridge and Bingo. She crocheted afghans for her daughters, and was always interested in the lives of her family members. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manzano Del Sol and Evercare for the loving care of our mother, especially these past two years. TRUJILLO -- Carlos Trujillo 56, a life long resident of Albuquerque, died on May 25, 2007. He was born in Mountainair on May 9, 1951. VALLEJOS -- Felipe J. Vallejos, age 81, beloved father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 25, 2007. He was a resident of Albuquerque, and was a member of the Catholic Church. Felipe enjoyed cooking for his family and working on his yard. He will forever be fondly remembered as a kind, loving man who always was there for his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Vallegos; and their son Vincent Vallegos. Felipe is survived by his loving daughter, Lupe Mowery and husband Gene; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; many other beloved family members and friends. Felipe will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Church, on the corner of Mildred and 4th Street. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Steven Marez, Vincent Mowery, Gino Mowery, Cipriano Lucero, Alex Vallejos, and Thomas Perez. WINDMOELLER -- Nell Windmoeller, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend has left us to travel another journey. She passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007 in El Paso, TX. She was born in El Paso, TX to Henry and Bertha (Cortez) Ludwig on January 7, 1922. Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Windmoeller; son-in-law, Lonnie Coles; brothers, Henry, Gus, George and Bill Ludwig; and sister, Bertha Backer. She is survived by her daughters: Rosie Tripp and husband Don; Carlene Coles; and Darlene Anderson and husband, CB; step-children: Louise Swanson and Hank Windmoeller; sisters: Peggy Castle and Ann Sylvester; 10 grandchildren: Don Tripp III, Kimberly Gonzales, Justin Coles, Michelle Garza, Natalie Thompson, Chad Anderson, Kelly, Katie and Carey Swanson, and Jason Windmoeller; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, past member of Socorro Women's Golf Association, Socorro Federated Republican Women and San Miguel Prayer Group. She loved teaching Catechism to little ones, reading her Bible, gardening and growing her roses. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to her special niece, Billie Apodaca and her loving care-givers Esperanza Gonzales, Vicky Olivas and Hospice. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Honorary Pallbearers are Nell's 10 grandchildren. Those desiring may make a contribution in her memory to Socorro Good Samaritan Alzheimer Unit, P.O. Box 1279, Socorro, NM 87801.
