BAIN -- Paul Brock Bain, 71, died peacefully and comfortably at his home on January 5, 2005 after a long illness. Paul was born at Ft. Sheridan, IL on April 6, 1934 to a military family. In his early years he traveled with his family to Panama during WWII, spent his childhood and youth in Washington, D.C. and ended up in Albuquerque, NM where his father was stationed at Kirkland AFB. The family fell in love with Albuquerque and made it their permanent home. After he graduated from Highland High School in 1952 he began a lifelong career as a radio personality in college which brought him to KOB in Albuquerque, NM, KROD in El Paso, TX, KRMD and KWKH in Shreveport, LA. After his retirement in 1996 he and his wife returned to Albuquerque and bought a home in the South Valley. He was a teacher, deacon and elder at Cristo del Valle Presbyterian Church.
