ABBOTT -- Regina Wood Abbott S.F.O., age 66, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 24, 2004. Regina was born on April 11, 1938 in Athens, Ohio to Frank and Elsie Wood. She is survived by one son, Charles Abbott of Aurora, CO; daughter, Sarah Abbott of Albuquerque; brother, Frank Wood of Whitter, CA; and one grandson, John Abbott of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Abbott and her brother, David Wood. Regina professed as a member of the Secular Franciscan Order in 2000 and served until her death. Rosary will take place on Tuesday, June 29 at 7 p.m at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 30 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Tennessee at Lomas. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7900 Wyoming Blvd. NE. BOOTH -- John "Sara" Booth, age 52, resident of Albuquerque for four years, passed away Friday, June 25, 2004. He is survived by his partner, Terry Tallada of Albuquerque; mother, Mary Frances Booth of Champaign, IL; brothers, Bill Booth and wife, Rebecca of Corpus Christi, TX, Joe Booth and wife, Sheila of Salem, IL; sisters, Nancy Bess and husband, Donald of Indianapolis, IN, Andy Yim and husband, Errol of Honolulu, HI, Jane Plankenhorn and husband, Robert of Champaign, IL; sister in-law Jane Booth of Deatur, IL; and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father, William L. Booth and brother, Cary Booth. John was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Odin, IL. DRUM -- Ledelia "Dee" Drum, a resident of Phoenix died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Bethesda Gardens in Phoenix, AZ. Dee Cole was born September 12, 1917 in Graham, TX. She grew up in Graham and married L.E. Drum on July 17, 1937 in Graham. They lived in Albuquerque from 1946 to 1955, moving to Fremont, NE in 1955. In 1988 they retired in Albuquerque. She is survived by her son, Duncan Drum and wife, Sandy of Pflugerville, TX; daughter, Jan and husband, Bob; daughter-in-law, Ann Drum of Knoxville, TN; sister, Nell Ray Hardesty of Olney, TX; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seventeen nieces and nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her husband, L.E., October 12, 1997; son, Mic, May 4, 2004; five sisters, and two brothers. A graveside service will be held on Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. GORE -- Norma Gore. Our beloved Norma passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2004. Born September 16, 1920, Norma lived in Albuquerque for 79 years. She graduated from AHS in 1937 and majored in music and fine arts at UNM. She married Ray Gore August 28, 1938. Norma is survived by her husband; sons, Gary, and Larry and his wife, Marie; grandson, Jim and his wife, Fawn; granddaughter, Kim; and great-grandsons, Brandon Gore and John Schwettmann. Norma was a well-known and accomplished artist and retired music teacher. She belonged to Central Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Progress Women's Club and Cosmopolitan Women's Club. Memorial service will be Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Central Methodist Chapel where flowers may be sent. Assistant Pastor Molly Shannon will officiate.

NEWELL -- Jean Newell, 80, passed away in Albuquerque on Tuesday, June 22, 2004. She was born in Ralls, TX on March 24, 1924 and married Bryant Newell on December 21, 1940. They moved to Albuquerque in 1951 where Jean spent thirty-one years working for the Civil Service at KAFB, before retiring. Bryant preceded her in death in 1994. Jean is survived by two daughters, Frankye Bennett of Albuquerque and Lynne Glenn of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren, Merle "Kinny" and James Bennett of Germany, Tom Bennett of Minneapolis, MN and Don Bennett of Albuquerque, Jonna Stanger of Las Vegas, NV, and Frankye Wysinski of Colorado Springs, CO. There are six great-grandchildren, D.J., Jayden, Kimberly, Brenden, Kylan and Nicholas. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday June 29, 2004. The Family requests no flowers. PAZZI -- Darlene L. Morgan (Dixon) Pazzi was born January 27, 1930 and began her eternal life with our Lord on June 27, 2004. As a young woman Darlene was very active in the Albuquerque Garden Club and various programs with her children. She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for several years and then worked at San Juan Regional Hospital as a supervisor for the emergency room administration office for 18 years. She retired due to a work related accident and since then has lived in the Albuquerque and Peralta area. Her smile was freely given to everyone she met and her kindnesses were numerous to her friends, neighbors, children, and grandchildren. She loved Jesus, dance, the theater, and to create arts and crafts, painting, crocheting, flowers and children. Her family loves her very much and she will be extremely missed. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lula Brachear. She is survived by her sons, Keith A. Dixon and his wife, Naoma of Peralta, NM, Gordon L. Dixon and his wife, Debra of Albuquerque, and Nick Pazzi of Bloomfield, NM; thirteen grandchildren, Galen A. Dixon and his wife, Sharon, Alicia D. and her husband, Jason Jones, Rene and her husband, Lonnie Jernigan, Gordon L. Dixon, Jr., Adam Dixon, Shirley and her husband, Dean Gutierrez, Billy Brewster, Nichole Pazzi and Bucky Pazzi, Janell and her husband, Phillip Gallegos, John R. Hawks and his wife, Tracy, Justus R. Hawks and his wife, Amanda, Jesse E. Hawks and his wife, Debbie; twenty beautiful great grandchildren, and cousins Anna Beth Brock and her family and Chuck and Donna Ross and their family. Darlene's wishes of Cremation have been respected and a grave side service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Albuquerque, NM. ZAMORA -- Joe Zamora, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2004. He is survived by a son, Leonard Zamora; daughters, Diane Carriaga and husband, Robert and Christine Bogle and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Michelle Carriaga-James and husband, David, Robert Ray Carriaga, Vanessa, Whitney and Brian Bogle; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Anthony Carmen James; brothers, Julian Zamora and Danny Zamora and wife, Mellie; sisters, Maryann Sanchez and husband, Lorenzo, Rachel Toledo and husband, Prospero, Cecilia Coiner and husband, Bud, Lydia Havens and Lorina Ortega and husband, Jimmy; and sister-in-law, Ursula Lantz and husband, Jerry.
