Edwards -- Ann Dudley Edwards of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2002. She was born in Danville, Virginia October 4,1925. She is survived by her husband, W. Sterling Edwards; their son, Bruce and his wife, Paula; and their children, Laura and Robert; their son, Peter and his wife, Ana and their children Will and Sandy; their daughter, Kitty and her husband, Carl Lineberger of Boulder, Colorado and their son, Wyman of Albuquerque and his stepchildren, Amadeo and Nina Gonzales. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Ann Dudley Edwards was very active in community affairs and an effective advocate of peaceful conflict resolution. She was involved in worldwide development through World Neighbors, Witness for Peace, and OXFAM International. She was a part of delegations to several Central American countries, working for peace and monitoring elections. She was very active in the Quaker Meeting of Albuquerque. She attained her Master's Degree at UNM and practiced counseling for women for ten years. She had many friends locally, nationally and around the world. Geuss -- Bonnie Geuss, age 70, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died on October 10, 2002 in Santa Fe. She was an ordained minister of Faith Christian Fellowship, director of Camp Sheloh, and founder and former pastor of Bible Teaching Center. Her husband, Donald W. Geuss, preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by her children, Mark S. Geuss and wife, Alva, Daryl K. Geuss and wife, Cynthia and Glenn W. Geuss and wife, Michelle, all of Albuquerque, Christy A. Garcia and husband, Tom and Gary W. Geuss and wife, Roxanne, all of Rio Rancho and Donald K. Geuss and wife, Josephine of Tulsa, OK; two foster children, Brad Morgan and Dianne Stevenson and husband, Stewart; a sister, June Anders of Hillsboro, NM; and a brother, Pete Simmons and wife, Genie of Fishkill, NY. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Lisette L. Cepeda and husband, Armando, Fallen, Ariel, Matthew, Jordan, David, Joshua, Jacob, Alexandra, Revea and Zachary Geuss and Isaac and Julie Garcia; two great-grandchildren, Noelle and Mya Cepeda; and three foster great-grandchildren. McDonald -- Jane "Turk" McDonald, 74, died at the San Juan Regional Medical Center Wednesday, October 9, 2002. Turk was born December 5, 1927 in San Angelo, TX. Turk is survived by sons, John T. McDonald of Counselors, NM, Mark Arrott and wife, Carlyn of Baton Rouge, LA, Louis P. McDonald and wife, Stephanie of Corrales, NM, Frank McDonald of Farmington, NM; daughter, Kelley McDonald Aragon of Counselors, NM; grandchildren, Johnny Reese McDonald, Joseph Thomas McDonald, Rayna Forest McDonald, Ian J. McDonald, Kimberley McDonald, Jason McDonald, Patrick J. Aragon, Lauren Aragon and Monique Aragon; four great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Gary and Sybil Huntington, L B Dean and Jeannette Conrad for the kindness they showed to Turk. Turk was preceded by her husband, Harold McDonald; father, Louis L. Farr Jr.; and mother, Nola Ratan Farr; sister, Elizabeth Betsy Heitkamp; brothers, James R. Farr and Louis L. Farr III; and a special friend, F R Huntington. Turk was a graduate of Hockaday Finishing School in Dallas, TX, attended Finch Jr. College and Trinity University. She moved to New Mexico in 1957 and married Harold McDonald in 1958. Together they ran the Counselors Trading Post. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2002. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmington. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmington with Monsignor Leo Gomez officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Muller -- John Herman Muller, born to Eloise Martinez and Herman Muller on may 28, 1931 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Regina; daughter, Lois Ann Dickie and husband, Robert of Los Lunas; son, Michael and wife, Nancy Muller of Albuquerque; grandson, Eric Kirmer and wife, Alex, Bryan Kirmer, Jacob and Luke Muller all of Albuquerque; sister, Dolores Henry of Fallon, NV; brother, Fred Muller and wife, Jessie; sister-in-law, Madonna Muller; numerous nieces and nephews. John served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955 and was a SEABEE stationed in Guam. He graduated from UNM with a BS in Architectural Engineering. John retired after 30 years in the Federal Government BIA/HUD Indian Affairs. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill; brother-in-law, Kenneth Henry and great-granddaughter, Alexis-Kirmer-Bell. Mullins -- Ernest C. Mullins, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for seven years, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jewell Mullins of Albuquerque; son, Darrel Mullins of Parkville, MO; daughters, Gaylene Berberick of GA, Cheryl Mullins of Albuquerque, Nancy Torneden and husband Jerry of Tijeras, NM, Janet Mullins, Janet Kramer, Brenda Sandoval and husband, Russell, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Rick, Christopher, Nick, Tim, Andrea, J.R., Christa, Courtney, Matthew, Miranda, Jonathan, Justin, Catherine, and Lucas; brother, Paul Mullins of FL; and sisters, Geneva Friend of MO, and Marie DuBois of KS. Ernest served his country in the U.S. Army. He was involved with the Bear Canyon and Palo Duro Senior Centers where he enjoyed line dancing and performed with the Rockn Rhythm dancers. Ernest also loved traveling and playing the guitar. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Nunn -- J.W."Jay" Nunn, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1932, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002. He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Scanlan and husband, Tim, and Wilma Ross and husband Gary, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Dirk and wife, Melani, Vanetta and husband, Chris, Christal and husband, Daniel, Autumn and husband, Mark, T.C., Brandy and husband, Shannon and Cyrus; six great-grandchildren, Alex, Joseph, Kaleigh, Tristin, Sabrina and Brittany; sisters, Betty Jo Hughes and husband, Bob of Silver City, Shirley Hanes and husband, Fred of Tijeras, Darlene Puttman and husband, Argene of Albuquerque, and Joann Marions and husband, Gary of Ruidoso; and brother, Kenneth D. Nunn and wife, Betty of Los Lunas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anas Doty Nunn; great-grandchildren, Angel Garcia and Jazzmin Johnston. J.W. was an avid Oakland Raider fan. He was part owner of several racehorses. J.W. loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was delighted in watching their sports activities. Peterson -- Bertha Peterson, age 89, and a resident of Albuquerque, died October 10, 2002. Bert was born September 9, 1913 to Merrill and Bessie (Kluge) Fleeson. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lester Warren Peterson. Bert raised her daughters, Merry Christina Stubblefield of Albuquerque and Patricia Weir of Philadelphia PA. She is also survived by her sister, Bessie Hunter of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Patty Lynn Labade, Glenn Labade, Richard Labade and Arthur Weir; and numerous great-grandchildren. Gifted with a quick inquisitive mind, Bert was an artist, astronomer and musician. She spent the last decades of her life in Florida and loved the ocean. She moved to New Mexico in 2001. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2002 in Fern Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE with Pastor Larry Cotter officiating. Rebeil -- Juan Pedro"Pete" Rebeil, 39, died Sunday October 6, 2002 in a motorcycle accident in Lamy, NM. Pete was an engineer at Sandia Labs where he worked since 1988 spending the last few years as a robot systems programmer. He is survived by his mother, Margarita U. Rebeil; a brother, Roberto Rebeil; and three sisters, Julia Rebeil Lumsargis, Cristina M. Rebeil, and Patricia Rebeil. Pete loved God and the Catholic faith. He was very active at Immaculate Conception Church were he often served as a lector. Pete enjoyed studying different languages so he could better understand other cultures by reading and watching movies in the native language, His latest was Italian. Pete loved being outdoors, hunting and camping, but his favorite was going into a new area and driving on the back roads and logging trails with his 4-wheel drive truck while mapping them with his GPS unit. He was a great friend and all whose lives were touched by his will remember him always. May you go with all our prayers into God's arms and be at peace. There will be a viewing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2002 at Romero Chapel (Funeral Home) in Monte Vista, Colorado followed by a Rosary at Holy Name of Mary Church in Del Norte, Colorado. Russell -- Frances Jane Russell, 84, a lifetime resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2002. She is survived by her four children, Henry Russell, Susan Crabtree and her husband, Gene of Pagosa Springs, CO, Chuck Russell Jr. and wife, Lissa, and Gayle Russell; sister, Miriam Pollard; and friend, Darrell Bailey; grandchildren, Leah Granfield, Nisse Edwards and husband, Darryl, Ashley Dacus and husband, Joshua, Brianne Russell, Scotti Russell, Brian Nolan, Adam Nolan, and David Lee; nieces, Marilyn Lohr, and Melinda Underkofler; and her two children, Amy and Abby. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; her mother, Inez Arble Phillips; father; and brother, Harry B. Patterson. Sanchez -- Saturnino Sanchez Sr., 95, was born October 31, 1906, and passed away at home Thursday, October 10, 2002. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, has been called home to be with our Lord, and wife, Paublita; two sons, Benito and Dimas Sanchez; daughter, Molly"Amalia" Carter; three grandchildren, Bernice Tapia, Ruben Giron, and Charles Carter; and most recently a great grandson, Dominick Edward Tapia. Saturnino is survived by two sons, Andres and Saturnino Jr.; son-in-law, Thomas Carter Sr.; four daughters, Teofila Armijo, Anita Tapia, Margie Armijo, and Lugie Sanchez; one brother, Miguel Sanchez; and one sister, Reyna Herrera; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Saturnino was a member of the Labor Union # 16 for over 50 years. We have been so blessed to have had you in our lives for the many years as we did, but God has called you home to be with him. Syme -- Dorothy M. Syme, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Archuleta and husband, Louis of Albuquerque and Shirley Lujan of Tyler, TX; sisters, Beulah Martin of Westminister, CO, Loriene Dunbar of Fowler, CO and Rosalie Goff of Pueblo, CO; brothers, Wiley Russell (Pete) Cook and Cyrus Richard (Cy) Cook, both of Pueblo, CO; grandchildren, Lynette Johnson and husband, Blake and Rodney Hodges and wife, Dawna, all of Albuquerque; step-grandchildren, Lori Lujan Rogers of Albuquerque, Michael L. Lujan of Tyler, TX and Patti Lujan Carnes of Tracy, CA; three great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Thomas Cook and Jewel May Carter; son-in-law, Lorenzo E. Lujan, Jr.; and sister, Helen Martin. She was born August 4, 1921 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Dorothy graduated from Cotapaxi, Colorado. During her life, she worked at Fedway Department Store, was a secretary at Equipment Sales and Manufacturing Company, a buyer of ladies accessories at Kistler Collister and as a salesperson at Cottrell Hallmark. Torres -- Tim Torres, 40, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Gil and Alice Torres; brothers, Gil Torres, Jr. and Gregory Torres; grandmother, Amelia Maetas, all of Albuquerque; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and last but not least his dog, Yokum. Tim graduated from Del Norte High School. His friends considered him an expert with computers.
