Bunton -- Margaret Bunton, 46, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, August 13, 1999. She is survived by her sister, Mary Wagner and husband, Bob; brother, Curtis Bunton Jr.; nephew, Curtis Bunton III and Eric Wagner all of Roswell; nieces, Kimberly Honaker of Douglas, Wyoming and Keylee Conan of Glasgow, Montana; one great-niece and three great-nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Marie Bunton. Ms. Bunton was a member of the Hoffmantown West Church. She was actively involved with the childrens program as well as with the church. Ms. Bunton also accompanied the children on many mission trips. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Todd Cook officiating.

Carrion -- Alice Carrion, 85, a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 14, 1999. She was born on June 14, 1914; she was a life time member of the Disabled American Veterans, Auxiliary Unit 3. She is survived by two sons, Bennie Carrion and wife, Angie, Danny Carrion; four daughters, Celsa Carrion, Viola Moya and husband, Phillip, Mary Turrietta and husband, Oracio"Sana", Mary Alice Ortiz; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one son-in-law, Leroy Torres Sr. and one sister-in-law, Isabel Torres and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Iron, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel with Pastor Clara Ortega, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Ronnie Carrion, Jerry Moya, Bernie Torres Jr., Juan Carrion Jr., Leroy Torres Jr., Richard Carrion. Honorary bearers will be Danny Carrion, Robbey Torres, Anthony Torres and all her grandchildren. Funeral services are in the care and direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., S.W. 243-5222.

Dilorenzo -- James E. DiLorenzo, 57, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, August 10, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Emily DiLorenzo of Albuquerque; sons, Vincent DiLorenzo and wife, Jeannine and Paul DiLorenzo; grandchildren, Mitchel, Dylan and Jordyn; brother, Charles DiLorenzo and wife, Kathleen; sister, Donna Castleman and husband, Ron; niece, Annette DiLorenzo; and nephews, David DiLorenzo and wife, Kimberly, and Ross Alarid. Hooper -- Timothy M. Hooper (Papa Tim), age 44, a life long resident passed away Friday at his home. He is survived by his parents, mother, Phyllis Cooper; father, Lawrence A. Hooper and wife, Joyce; sister, Helen Lucero and husband, Mike and their son, Marcus; step-sister, Holly Compiano and her son, Anthony; Aunt Evelyn Hooper; and numerous cousins and friends. The family would like to acknowledge special friends, Ernie and Mary Hall; his 50 students and pen pals and the Presbyterian Hospice Nurses. Lucero -- Renee Lucero, age 45, a resident of Big Bear, California and longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 5, 1999. She is survived by husband, Don Tapia; mother, Virginia Lucero; son, Ramon Gallegos; brothers, Chris, Glen, Boni and wife, Milly, Clifford and wife, Karen, and Ernest; nieces and nephews, Tammy, Steve, Robert, Matthew, Marcos, Kiko and Paul; step-kids, Todd, Tommy, Mike and Donna Tapia. Renee was recently preceded in death by her father, Chris Lucero; and niece, Lynnae Lucero. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at San Felipe Church in Old Town. Osuna -- JoAnn"Jody" Osuna, 59, a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years, died Friday, August 13, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Carlos E. Osuna of the family home; sons, Scott V. Childers and wife, Mary of Vancouver, WA and Paul J. Childers of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Joseph Childers and wife, Sarah and Eric Childers; great-grandson, Jonathan; mother, Mary Jane Meeks of Albuquerque; brother, Samuel Meeks; sister, Janet Meeks, both of Little Rock, AR; many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Osuna was a member of Christ The Ray of Hope Lutheran Church. She was the 49th heart transplant in the state of New Mexico nine years ago. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Christ The Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio NE, with Pastor Harold Johnson officiating. Sisneros -- Mr. Albert V. Sisneros, Sr., 77, resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 14, 1999. Mr. Sisneros is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty A. Sisneros; one son, Albert V. Sisneros, Jr. and wife, Kathleen; one sister, Percy Henderson of Las Animas, CO; three sisters-in-law, Florinda Sisneros, Josie Trujillo and husband, Luis and Fabiola Arquello; son-in-law, Lee Romero; three grandchildren, Stephanie Banda and husband, Daniel, Danetta Valdez and David Sisneros; six great-grandchildren, Jillian and Jordan Valdez, Justice Vasquez, Angel and Joshua Gutierrez and Eric Banda; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sisneros was preceded in death by his parents, Requel and Hilaria Sisneros; his daughter, Patsy Romero; his brothers, George and Lucio Sisneros; his brothers-in-law, Paul Arguello and Ned Henderson. Thomas -- David K. Thomas, 80, died Tuesday, August 10, 1999, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. He was born March 11, 1919, in Los Angles, Calif., to Dr. Frank and Helen (Kemp) Thomas. Mr. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for 40 years as a manager for the State Farm Insurance Co.., in Orange County, Calif. He moved to Prescott 11 years ago. Mr. Thomas was active with the Prescott Lions Club, American Legion Post 6 of Prescott, and the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #330 in Prescott Valley. Survivors include his daughter, Helen Hood of Albuquerque, NM; and son, Dr. Charles Thomas of Los Angeles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine, in 1998. The family plans no local services. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif. Memorial may go to the Shriner's Transportation Fund, 1028 Willow Creek Rd., Prescott, AZ 86301, or to the charity of one's choice. Hampton Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Whiting -- Clifford"Red" Whiting, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Thursday, August 12, 1999. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Whiting of Las Vegas, NM; nephew, Robert Ray of Phoenix, AZ; nieces, Eileen McClinton of Horatio, AR, Rita Craig and Penny Ray, both of Phoenix, AZ; close friend, Gerald Johnson of Albuquerque; and companion, Charlie. Mr. Whiting was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie O. Whiting in 1993. He was born in St. Johns, AZ. Mr. Whiting started work in 1929 for the B.I.A. in Fort Defiance, AZ. He retired from the Bureau of Indian Affair Branch of Plant Design and Construction in 1966. After he retired, Mr. Whiting was elected President of the Albuquerque Chapter of National Association Retired Federal Employees and later was elected President of the N.A.R.F.E. State Chapter. Mr. Whiting was the original chairman of the State Commission on Aging and served on the National Council on Aging. He was an administrative assistant to Lt. Governor Roberto Mondragon. Mr. Whiting was an avid genealogist and served as director of the L.D.S. Family History Center, located at 1100 Montano NW. His hobbies included construction and gardening. Mr. Whiting was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Montano Chapel, 1100 Montano NW, with Bishop Carl Osborn officiating. Wood -- Harry Vernon"Bunny" Wood, born in Kansas City, MO April 24, 1906 passed away on August 14, 1999. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1953. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jean Russell, by his wife of five years, Rowena Carr; by his sons, James R. Wood and Richard W. Wood and two grandsons, Gary Wood and Jeffrey Wood. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Pat Wood of North Richland Hills, TX; by grandson, Daniel B. Wood and his three daughters, Jaymi, Randi, and Danni Wood of Davis, CA; by granddaughter, Beth Lahale, her husband, Mark and their three children, Grant, Meredith, and Jordan Lahaieof North Richland Hills, TX; granddaughter, Tery Lynn Wood of Kirtland, WA; granddaughter, Tammie Pearce, her husband William and their three children, Shelby, David and Christopher Pearce of Navarre, Florida, by nieces Diane Kalas of Cornville, AZ, Gayle Spellman of Ocala, Florida, Arden Heenan of Kansas City, MO and nephew Mac Wood also of Kansas City. He attended Kansas City Junior College in Kansas City, MO, was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque for more than 30 years, the Hoffmantown Sunday School, the Senior Citizens"Triple L" Group, the Albuquerque Rotary Club, the American Philatelic Society, the Albuquerque Philatelic Society (Past President) and an active member of the Palo Duro Philatetic Society. He was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America for some 30 years, served as a director of the greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and took an active part in civic affairs. Before coming to Albuquerque, he was connected with the atomic weapons program for over 18 years, serving as manager of the Iowa Ordnance Plant in Burlington, Iowa and general superintendent of the Kansas Ordnance Plant in Parsons, Kansas. He was an executive with ACF Industries in Albuquerque for more than 13 years. He was a writer and an ardent fly fisherman. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice, in memory of"Bunny".

Young -- Rachel C. Young, 96, passed away August 11, 1999. Rachel was born on January 30, 1903 in Clarksville, Texas to Rev. D.F. and Lena Corley Hamilton. Her husband, Ransom H. Young, preceded her in death. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special nephew, Kelvin Young, who cared for her for 12 years until her passing.
