Alexander -- Cornell (Johnnie) Alexander, 96, died Monday, May 14, 2001. She is survived by her son, L.D. Alexander and wife, Jerri, of Corrales, NM; daughter, Betty Davis of Moriarty, NM; grandchildren, Grady Alexander and wife, Cari, Steven Alexander, Connie Gerber, Debbie Miera and husband, Vernon and Bill Davis; great-grandchildren, Emily Alexander, Haley, Dustin and Miranda Malouff, Brandon and Matthew Miera; sister, Evelyn McDonald of Albuquerque, NM. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and we treasured our time with her. Cremation has taken place and private memorial services have been held. A special thanks to all of the wonderful staff at Sandia Manor Care for taking such good care of her these past 5 months. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you pass on the kindness that Johnnie so generously shared in her lifetime and do a kind deed in her memory.
