White -- Hazel M. White, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1944, died Monday, July 2, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Michael W. White of Albuquerque; son, Mickey White and wife, Nancy Lefler of Temple, TX; daughter, Nancy Clark of Corrales; grandchildren, Andrew White, Anne Marie White, both of Temple, TX, Michael Clark of Vail, CO and Christopher Clark and wife, Rebecca; great-grandson, Miles Patric Clark, all of Salt Lake City, UT; and brother, Wilbur Wehrle of Fenimore, WI. Mrs. White taught elementary in a one-room schoolhouse in Wisconsin for several years and later taught in private schools in Albuquerque where she finished her career. She also worked for the National Park Service at Grand Canyon National Park; served as campground host at the Redondo and Jemez Falls campground in the Jemez Mountains. Mrs. White attended the Aquinas Newman Center. She was a supportive wife, loving mother and grandmother. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Rosary will be held Thursday, 6:30 p.m., at Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas NE, with Father Bob Keller, O.P. reciting. Memorial Mass will be celebrated, 10:00 a.m., at Aquinas Newman Center, with Father Bob Keller, O.P., Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association NM Chapter, 1330 San Pedro NE, Suite 205, 87110. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
