Brady -- In Memoriam of Genevieve (Genie) Garey Brady. Born Sayre, PA, September 28, 1921, Died Albuquerque July 24, 1991. Your life was devoted to family as a wife and mother, to your country as a dedicated WWII Military Nurse in Africa, with Malaria and hepatitis as your bonus, Hawaii and Guam where you cared for seriously wounded soldiers and Marines from Iwo Jima; as a volunteer nurse in Military hospitals in Hawaii, New York, (Stewart), Alaska, Oklahoma, (Tinker), and New Mexico (Sandia/Kirtland); and to being a friend of all you met in your world travels. Respected and loved by family, neighbors, friends and those you served, you brought common sense and cheer to our days. Many times you parted from friends with a promise"If we don't see you again, we will meet you with St. Peter at the Angels Bar". Joe, dit, Mac, Lulubelle, Don, Bill, Fran, Marge, and many others (Saints all) have joined you for a quiet drink, Samba, and a prayer for we mortals who would ask only to have a table reserved for us. Ten years ago, you left this world and you have not been forgotten. We miss you. Almost 60 years ago you signed a picture" waiting, your own, Genie". Our time will come and we hope and pray to be with you in the hollow of the hands of Jesus. With all our love, Ed, Pat and Mickey.
