Rivera -- Pete D. Rivera, 66, died on July 19, 2001 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 39 yrs., Liz Rivera; daughters, Alice Hurst and husband, Barry of Albuquerque, Patti Robison and husband, Tom of Chandler, AZ; son, Tom Rivera and wife, Susan of Zimmerman, MN; five grandchildren Brandon, Aaron, Joey, Sheri and Ian. He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Martinez of Denver, CO; three brothers and five sisters; childhood friends Candi and Joe"Lori" Martinez. Pete retired from the U.S. Navy in 1970. He began Albuquerque business Plastic Supply & Fabrication in 1976. A rosary will be held on Monday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Community Church located at 12500 Carmel Ave. NE, with Father Antonio Mondragon as Celebrant. Burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
