Boos -- Laura M. Boos, a beloved daughter of our Heavenly Father, departed July 12, 2001 at the age of 87. She is survived and cherished by her husband, Fred; daughters, Carol Bowerman and husband, J.C. of Rio Rancho, Valerie Carey and husband, Patrick of New Hyde Park, NY; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Laura was born July 1, 1914 in Bronx, NY and resided in Rio Rancho for the past 25 years. She devoted her life to caring for her immediate and extended family members and was the embodiment of true Christian charity. According to her wishes, Laura was cremated and buried in Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho, following a Private Graveside Service attended by her family members.
