Hernandez -- Ray A. Hernandez Sr., 44, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on March 28, 2001. Mr. Hernandez is the beloved husband of 25 years to Mrs. Laura Hernandez. He is also survived by four daughters, Melissa Marrufo and husband, Michael, Valerie Herrera, Renee Herrera and fiance, Shawn Pertner and Melissa Hernandez; one son, Ray Hernandez Jr.; eight grandchildren, Nikki, Stephanie, Johnny, Brandon, Alyssa, Bubba, Nano and Angelica; one sister, Debbie Anaya; sister in law, Pam Marquez; brothers-in-law, Joseph Marquez and Robert Marquez; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Molly Compos. Mr. Hernandez was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's On The Rio Grande Catholic Church with visitation at the church after 4:30 p.m., the Legion of Mary will recited the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. at ST. Joseph On The Rio Grande Catholic Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Hernandez Jr., Jerry Thorne, Shawn Pertner, Michael Marrufo, Donald Garcia and Robert Lopez. Gabaldon Morutary 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
