Tate -- Una Faye Tate, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2001. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Byron Tate and wife, Mary of Tucson, AZ and Boyce Tate and wife, Helen of Houston, TX; two daughters, Lorene Brazell and her husband, J. L. of Albuquerque and Gaynell Eubanks of Atlanta, GA; and eight grandchildren, Sabrina Strong and husband, Wendell of Des Moines, IA, Judy Brazell of Columbia, SC, Darrell Brazell and wife, Debbie of Lawrence, KS, David Tate of Houston, TX, Brent Tate and wife, Stacey of Tucson, AZ, Paul Tate of Houston, TX, Dan Eubanks of Atlanta, GA, and Kandace Eubanks of Atlanta, GA; four great-grandchildren, Justin Basteen, Gracie Brazell, Riley Tate, and Taylor Eubanks; and sisters, Oletta Muddell and Vivian Lacy, both of Amarillo, TX. Mrs. Tate was born in Mobitee, TX on August 5, 1915. She married Giles Tate on June 12,1938. They were married for 62 years before Giles preceded her in death last year. Mrs. Tate was a member of Montgomery Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a good friend to many. Mrs. Tate will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Services will be held Monday, October 15, 2001, at 1:00 p.m., at Montgomery Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Darrell Brazell and Kevin Owen officiating. Pallbearers will be Dan Eubanks, David Tate, Paul Tate, Brent Tate, Darrell Brazell, and Willie Denney. Honorary pallbearers will be Reagan Smetak, Phil Pratt, Chuck Looney, Everett White, Tim Leftwich, Jay Grill, Steve Varley, and Dr. Lee Thompson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to plant trees in the Tree of Life Project, c/o Montgomery Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery Blvd. NE. 87109.
