Garcia -- Mr. Rosendo (Ross) G. Garcia Sr., 87, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 12, 2001 peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family. Mr. Garica is the beloved husband of 67 years to Mrs. Tillie Garcia. He is also survived by one daughter Agnes Humphrey; two sons, Ross Garcia and wife Vi and Jerry Garcia and wife, Louise; four brothers, Fabricio Garcia and wife, Laura, Henry Garcia, Pete Garcia and wife Lucinda and Oscar Garcia and wife, Helen; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Fidel Garcia; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church, he retired from Navajo-ABF Freight Lines in 1977, he was very active in ranching, farming along side with his son Ross and family in Cuba, New Mexico. He is loved and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon after 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griego Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:30 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Monday morning after 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Joe Vigil. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Gary Humphrey, Jim Garcia, Alex Marvin Garcia, Herman Garcia, Steve Garcia and Leroy Garcia. Honorary will be, Joe Narviez, Augustine Griego, Gilbert Griego Sr. and Gilbert Gallegos. Gabaldon Mortuary,1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
