Barros -- Mr. Epifanio (Epi) D. Barros, 74, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 7, 2001. Mr. Barros is the beloved husband of 56 years to Mrs. Carolina Barros. He is also survived by one daughter, Lorraine Quirino; three sons, Ricardo Barros, Jerry Barros and Tony Barros and friend, Deborah James; one sister, Lugardita Carter of Montebello, Ca.; one brother, Joe Barros and wife, Isabel; nine grandchildren, Carlos, Andres, Javier, Lucas, Gabriela, Sonia, Serafina, Brianna and Eduardo; one great-grandson, Lucas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Epi was a member of the Catholic Church, a member of the Elks Lodge #461, Knights of Columbus #641, Moose Lodge #1517 and an honorary member of the D.A.V. #3. Perhaps his greatest joy was in running his businesses: Sandia Bar in Corrales, Epi's Cocinita and Lounge on the Westside and Fam Jam LLC. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, clients, the Famous Breakfast Club and his dog Rocky. A viewing will be on Friday evening after 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Saturday morning after 8:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Carlos Barros, Andres Barros, Lucas Barros, Javier Quirino, Eduardo Barros and Albert Barros. Honorary will be his granddaughters, Gabriela, Sonia, Serafina and Brianna. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
