Sizemore -- Bonnie "Buck" Sizemore, SSG US Army Retired, 72, of Bosque Farms died at the V. A. Hospital on Feb. 24, 2001. He was born in Wapanucka, Oklahoma. He had an Honorable Discharge after serving 23 years in the U.S. Army. Buck received a Purple Heart, United Nations Service Medal, Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, Republic of Korea Presidential Service Badge, and a bronze clasp w/4 loops. He was life member of the D.A. V. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; and daughter, Libby of the family home in Bosque Farms; daughter, Allyn Kay Walker and husband, Robert of Paradise, Texas; son, Terry Lucker and wife, Edwina of Norman, Okla; brother, Sunny White and wife, of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren Billy, Bobbie and Kelly Joe Sizemore, Ian Buck Frausto, Megan Cerease, Eric Clifford Walker and Bryssa Anne Marie Torres; one great-granddaughter, Destiny Sizemore; and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, William and sister, Jessie Lee Davis. He was greatly loved by family and friends, and he will be missed so very much by his family, his loving dogs Sombra and Velvet and by his many wonderful friends. Cremation has taken place. The Funeral was held on Ash Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors.
