Ledbetter -- Edmond B. Ledbetter, 70, a former resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away after a short battle with cancer on February 19, 2001 in Dunnellon, FL. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his son, Mike and wife, Debbie of Ft. Collins, CO; stepson, John Howard; stepdaughter, Laura Howard; and grandchildren, Josh, Rachel and Emmett Ledbetter. He is also survived by his sisters, Marjorie Mize of Marina, CA, Dora Huber and Aileen Justice of Farmington, NM; and brother, Bert Ledbetter of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mamie Ledbetter. Ed was born near Clovis, NM on March 3, 1930. He was a graduate of Clovis High School and the University of New Mexico and served in the Korean War. He was a career employee of Mountain States Telephone Company and retired from that company in 1982. Ed was an avid golf player and spent much of his retirement years working at various golf courses. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Collins, CO on February 26, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.
