Ryan -- Ann Lawrence Ryan of Albuquerque. A Memorial Service for Ann will be held February 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver SW. Ryan, 44, died recently after an illness. Ryan was a graduate of the University of New Mexico and Louisiana State University. She was a theatre and food critic and a playwright and had traveled and studied in England, Costa Rica, and Brazil. She was preceded in death by her father, state District Court Judge, Joseph Ryan; her mother, Barbara Ryan; and stepmother, Jean Ryan. She is survived by her brother, Richard Ryan of Los Angeles; stepsister, Karen Parrish of Corrales; longtime partner, Roger Marston of Albuquerque; nephew, Rory Parrish of Corrales; uncle, Charles G. Ryan of Albuquerque; uncle, William and aunt, Mary Gilstrap of Albuquerque; uncle, Pat and aunt, Mary Blewett of Los Alamos; and numerous cousins and friends.
