Montoya -- Ernest V. Montoya, 78, passed away February 22, 2003. He was born in Santa Fe, NM to the family of Eugenio and Eduvijes Montoya. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from KAFB. He was preceded in death by both his parents; and brothers, Edward, Eugene, Lee, Sam and Leroy. Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Roma; and their three sons, Michael, and his sons, Nathan and wife, Monica, their children, Antonio, Eloday and Dominic; Ernest Jr. and his children, Katrina, David and his daughter, Jillian and son, Richard; Paul and his wife, Eva and their children, Desiree and Dustin. Ernest is also survived by his brother, Benny and his wife, Nancy of Cocoa, FL; and his only sister, Maida Durr of Santa Fe, NM; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 28, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
