Garcia -- Harold Diego"Dan" Garcia was born November 13, 1931. He was a life long resident of Corrales and passed away February 17, 2003. Dan was the owner of Diego�s Electric Company, a Korean War Veteran, and a past member of the Ballut Abyad Clown Unit. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ellen; son, Kevin Garcia and wife, Victoria; daughter, Dannette Lopez and husband, Emilio; five grandchildren, Daniel, Mary-y-Sol, Natalie, Micielo, and Brandice; his mother, Candelaria Garcia; sister, Margarita Garcia Sexson; uncles, Pete Leal and wife, Lucille, Valentine Leal and wife, Josefita; aunts, Lara Madrid, Sarah Lebian, Emma Maas and husband, Al, Ruth Leal, Priscilla Bailey and husband, Chuck; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins who loved and will miss him. The family would like to thank Hospice and Dr. Erickson. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, 5015 Corrales Rd., on Friday, February 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
