Chavez -- Pete J. Chavez, 78, died Monday, February 10, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Emma; daughters, Marlene Mora and husband, Phillip; Kathy Garcia and husband, Ralph; Beatrice Peralta and Liz Luna and husband, Chris, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren Phillip and Roxanne, Stephen, Christell and Crissy and great granddaughter, Alexis. Mr. Chavez was a member of Post 13 American Legion. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, February 12, 2003, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd with Deacon Lorenzo Castillo reciting. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 13, 2003, 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, with Father Robert Chabot, S.S.S. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
