Turtletaub -- Alexander Benjamin Turtletaub passed away on February 4, 2003. Alex was born on April 7, 1972 in Phoenix and moved to Albuquerque in 1987. He graduated from Menaul High in 1991, and from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management in 2000. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Dale Kious, and is survived by his mother, Dianne Turtletaub; his father, Stanley Turtletaub; his brother, Jacob; his sister, Alisa Young and husband, Jamie; his niece, Stella Blue; his grandfather, Harold Kious; his aunt and uncle, Pat and Mike Kious, and cousin, Ryan Kious; and numerous other family members and friends. Alex was brave beyond words, enduring physical hardships too many to count and too unfair to even contemplate. But he endured to conquer and prosper in his all too brief 30 years, leaving all who knew him in awe of his perseverance and strength. We love you and will miss you. A graveside Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 7, 2003 at Fairview Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements under direction of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE.
