Fuller -- Johnathan"John" Douglas Fuller, RPh, 55, passed away Monday, January 27, 2003. John is survived by his mother, Annie; his companion, Dawn Alexander; his sons, Kyle and Kory of Colorado Springs; his brothers, Drew, Steve and Mark of Albuquerque; and his sister, Ginger McLamore of McKinney, TX. John also has four nieces, Angela, Jeni, Jesi and Sarah; one nephew, Eric and one great-niece, Sophia. John was born in Hobbs, NM on November 27, 1947 to Andra Lee Fuller and Annie Lee Moreau Fuller. The family moved from Jal, NM to the Texas Panhandle in 1957. He graduated from high school in McLean in 1965 and briefly attended the University of Texas and Southwesten Oklahoma, prior to moving to Albuquerque and graduating from the University of New Mexico, College of Pharmacy in 1972. His profession as a pharmacist took John from Santa Fe to Colorado Springs in 1978. John's boys grew up playing soccer with three young players named Sagastume. John became friends with their father, Air Force Academy soccer coach, Louis Sagastume. Both John's boys played soccer in college on athletic scholarships. John moved back to Albuquerque in 1997 and continued his work as a pharmacist. John loved gardening and had gardens at his mother's home as well as his own small paradise in his backyard. His nieces are avid soccer and racquetball players. They could always depend on seeing"Uncle John" among their fans, smiling and encouraging them. He loved Lobo sports and followed the games closely. John leaves behind many family members that truly loved him and miss him. He had many friends and acquaintances including customers at the pharmacy whom will miss him deeply. Services will be held Friday, January 31, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
