Lopez -- Soilo J. Lopez, 80, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed on Jan. 13 2003. Soilo was born on December 12, 1922 in Las Vegas, NM. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Lopez; sons, Arthur F. Lopez, and Robert F. Lopez; daughters, Margaret L. Anaya, and Anita M. Chavez; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Lazaro Lopez; numerous relatives. Soilo fought in the south pacific in World War II. Services will be held at St Francis Xavier, 802 Broadway SE. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th NW Albuquerque, 343-8008.
