Lichtenberg -- Janelle S. Lichtenberg, 78, died Tuesday, January 7, 2003, after a prolonged illness. She died with courage and grace, and kept her sense of humor throughout her long ordeal. She will forever be an inspiration to those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, K. C. Lichtenberg; and a sister, Lucille Smith. She is survived by two children, C. P. Edwards and wife, Sandra of Albuquerque; and Linda Cerullo of Jacksonville, FL; and one sister, Tommie Gibson of Jackson, MS. She also leaves five wonderful grandchildren, Keri Morris and husband, Gary of Canby, OR; Jay Edwards of Newark, DE; Katie Edwards-Martinez and husband, Craig of Albuquerque, Nichole Gutierrez and husband, Robert of Albuquerque, and Nicole Cerullo of Jacksonville, FL. In addition, she leaves five precious great-grandchildren, Alex Morris, Madison Edwards, Isabella Edwards, Marshall Edwards, and Micayla Gutierrez. Cremation has taken place and a private service has been held. In addition to her family, Janelle especially loved animals, and was a strong supporter of the Animal Humane Association.
