Duran -- Anne Steel Duran, 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 after a brief illness, which was a complication of a long and courageous battle against cancer. She was born in Troon, Scotland to John and Jean McCormack and lived most of her life in Albuquerque. Anne is survived by her husband, Joe; daughters, Donna and Alison; and sons, Steven and Michael. Her remaining family members are an aunt, two cousins, three nieces and a nephew. Her only brother, Campbell Steel McCormack, preceded her in death. She loved traveling to visit family and friends, especially in Scotland. Her family and many close friends will miss her. Cremation has taken place and private memorial services will be held.
