Smith -- Cody Shane Smith, 27, a resident of Albuquerque since 1986, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Darla Smith of Albuquerque; brother, Todd Smith of Casper, WY; sister, LaShawnda Smith of Albuquerque; and grandfather, John Shipman of Grand Prairie, TX. He is also survived by his best friend, his Golden Retriever, Rex. Cody was born in Loyalton, California. He was a 1995 graduate of Eldorado High School. He attended TVI studying to be an architectural engineer. He was an employee of Smith's Food and Drug stores for 10 years. Services will be held Monday, May 5, 2003, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Todd Smith, John Shipman, Jason Shipman, Joshua Shipman, Robert Henderson, and Mark Bailey.
