Mellen -- Mildred E. Mellen passed away on May 27, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents and by three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Georganne of Albuquerque, NM and her sister, Lila W. Rogers of Rochester, MN. Mildred was employed as a secretary at Sandia National Laboratories until she retired in 1983. She was an enthusiastic gourmet cook and a gracious hostess. Her parties were well attended! She was very interested in arts and crafts, and her handicrafts, paintings, and drawings were much admired by family and friends. At Mildred's request, there will be no funeral service.
