Luna -- Mr. Alfonso Luna Sr., 68, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Friday, May 30, 2003. Mr. Luna is the beloved husband of 42 years to Mrs. Mercedes Luna. Mr. Luna is also survived by his children, Sylvia Loya and husband, Arturo, Minerva Miley and husband, Harry, Alfonso Luna Jr. and wife, Claudia, Ernesto Luna and wife, Sonia, Gustavo Luna and Jorge Luna and girlfriend, Mary Jane Clark; one sister, Amelia Corral; one brother, Cayetano Luna; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special niece, Blanca Jimenz; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Luna was a member of the Catholic Church. A Visitation for Mr. Luna will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final Visitation will be Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Roberto Fenzl. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Mario Trujillo, Arturo Trujillo, Arturo Loya Jr., Alfonso Loya, Fred Barncastle and Carlos Jimenez.
