Mccann -- Joseph E. McCann, age 68, beloved and devoted father and grandfather, was called home to be with the Lord our Savior and his beloved wife Mable on Friday, May 30, 2003. Joseph was born in Georgiana, Alabama and was a resident of Albuquerque; he was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force whom defended our country during the Korean Conflict. Joseph is survived by four sons, Earl Dean and wife, Tillie, Glen Patrick and wife, Melody, Curtis and wife, Mary, Jody Ray and wife, Victoria; one loving daughter, Sharon McCann; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Joseph will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Evening services will be conducted Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 9:30 a.m. also in the chapel, with Pastor Dave Romero officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. Casket bearers will be Willy Jojola, Jr., Andy McCann, Adam McCann, Willy Jojola, Sr., Jody McCann, and Glen McCann. Honorary bearers will be Christopher McCann, Adrian McCann and Jeremy McCann. Military Honors will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Honorguard.
