Galt -- John K. Galt, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, June 12, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Galt; son, Lloyd Anthony of Albuquerque; brother, Thomas Lee Galt and wife, Doris; and nephew, David Galt and wife, Suzan, all of Portland, Oregon. Mr. Galt graduated from Reed College and went to receive his PhD from MIT and became the staff scientist and manager with Bell Telephone Labs in Murray Hill, New Jersey in 1948 until 1974. From 1974 until 1985, we was manager of Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Galt then joined the Aerospace Coop Staff in Los Angeles, CA until 1990. Cremation has taken place.
