Smith -- Roy Daniel Smith, 80, a loving husband, father and grandfather and a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Friday, July 04, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Warner-Smith of Albuquerque; sons, Matthew M. Smith of Oakland, CA, Andrew A. Smith and wife, Toril of Vancouver, WA; and granddaughters, Sydney and Julia. Roy worked in Hollywood as a publicist in the motion picture industry, retiring to Albuquerque in 1983. He was a lover of music, literature, film, fine food and spirits. Roy was a native of Brooklyn and graduate of City College of New York. He was a life-long Dodgers fan. Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held.
