Kite -- Mary Lou Kite, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, died Friday, July 18, 2003. She is survived by her son, John Kite and wife, Sondra of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Mary Kite of Albuquerque and Rita Wagner and husband, Jack of Anthony, NM; grandchildren, John David Kite and wife, Jaimi, Deann Fisk, Jaime Kite, Grady Gentzler and wife, Aida, Mitzi Gentzler-Garcia and husband, Julio, Zane Gentzler; and great-grandchildren, Treyson John Kite, Ryan Joseph Kite and Joseph Boyd Fisk. Mrs. Kite was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kite whom she married in Madison, WI in 1941. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where she served on the Rosary Altar Society and the Legion of Mary. Mrs. Kite was an avid bridge player and will be remembered for her sense of humor, quick wit and her ability to make others smile. Services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE, with Father Francis X. Eggert, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
