Hammond -- Ms. Sharon Y. Hammond, 46, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 21, 2003. Sharon is survived by her mother, Sarah Vandeveer; one sister, Valarie Prue; two nephews, Joseph and Bryan Prue; one niece, Tanya Prue; her Godchildren, Jennifer Tumlinson and Joel Garcia; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her dad, Louis E. Lopez and her grandparents, Tony and Helen Aranda. Sharon was a member of the Catholic Church. A Memorial Service for Sharon will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW by Deacon Joe Herrera. The family will be receiving family and friends at the church after 8:30 a.m.. Pallbearers will be, Joseph Prue, Bryan Prue and Joel Garcia.
