Villanueva -- Villanueva, Seledon, age 80, has ended his journey on earth and has returned home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2003, in Pueblo, CO. Seledon was born on April 23, 1923, in Villanueva, NM, to Angel and Demitra Villanueva. He served in the United States Army and fought for his country in World War II. While fighting for his country, he was wounded twice and was a Prisoner of War. Seledon received several medals for the time he served his country. He is preceded in death by his parents Angel and Demitra Villanueva; brothers, Manuel and Ramos Villanueva; and sister, Vivian Willis. Seledon is survived by his children Albert (JoAnne Aguirre) Villanueva, Rosemary (Joseph) Ruiz, Seledon Villanueva, Jr., Thomas (Sallie) Villanueva, and special friend, former wife, Alice Villanueva. He is also survived by sisters, Tillie (Rodney) Davis, Alice Corbett, Epie Padilla, and brother, Leo Villanueva; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 27, 2003, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Villanueva, NM, at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Friday, August 28, 2003, at 9:00 a.m., also in Villanueva, NM. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, August 28, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. McGee Memorial Chapel 1320 Luisa Street 983-9151
