Cisco -- Scot (Evelyn) S. Cisco, born December 19, 1920 in Washington, DC, died Tuesday morning August 26, 2003, at the age of 82, with her daughter Kate by her side, singing to her. She had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Cisco in 1965, her granddaughter, Marian Props in February, 2003; and her parents, Evelyn and Halleck Fry. She is survived by her brother, Halleck Duncan Fry of Akron, Ohio; her son, David Cisco of Gregory, Michigan; her daughter, Kate Austin of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She worked at Samon's Electric and Plumbing Supply as a bookkeeper since 1981 and retired in July, 2003 because of declining health. She considered the owners and employees of the company her cherished family and was devoted to them. She was especially fond of her boss of 20 years who also preceded her in death. She loved to read and always felt there were ťtoo many books and not enough time. She had a wonderful sense of humor and continued to laugh and kid with people while in the hospital. She was generous of spirit and incredibly supportive of her family, her friends and everyone she worked with. She loved to teach and tried to share her knowledge and experience with newer colleagues (and anyone whoťd listen). She loved life and had a strong will to survive. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at Monte Vista Christian Church on Friday August 29th at 1:00 p.m. Her final resting place will be along side her beloved husband at Arlington National Cemetery, as she wished. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monte Vista Christian Church, Music Memorial, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106-1350. (2nd block east of Monte Vista, two blocks North of Central main entrance off Berkley). Aspen Funeral Alternatives 1935 Juan Tabo NE (505) 323-9000
