TIETJEN -- Rena "Dianne" Tietjen passed away quietly at her home on Wednesday, September 03, 2003 at her home in Jarales, NM. She was born on December 20, 1946 in Sherman, Texas to her proud parents, William and Napon Sullenger. She was a dedicated director of the Valencia County Residential Services at Adelante Development Center where she had many great friends and co-workers. Preceding her in death was her dear parents. Dianne is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ted Tietjen of Jarales, NM; her three daughters, Chantel Trulock of Belen, NM; Shelby Horton of Los Lunas, NM; and Cindy Tietjen of Jarales; her five grandchildren, Quentin, Alden, Ashley, Brittany, and Layne Evan Tietjen; and son-in-laws, Eric Holton and Shawn Horton. She is also survived by her two sisters, Carloyn Cresto and her husband, Johnny; Frances Polich and her husband, Tony; two brothers, Billy Sullenger and his wife, Adelle; and Lieu Sullenger and his wife, Brenda, all of Gallup; her brother-in-laws. Ned Tietjen and his wife, Janet of Jarales; Dale Carver; and Clay Alexander; sister-in-law, Bobby Jo Randles and her husband, Monty of Springer, NM; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who all loved her immensely. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ned Tietjen, John Cherry, Shawn Horton, Eric Holton, Robert Carver, and Tony Polish. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kenny Moody. Romero Funeral Home 609 N. Main St. Belen 87002.
