CLINCH, MARGARET Sadly, on February 14th, ten days away from her 86th birthday, our beloved Mum, Grandmother, and friend joined her late husband of 60 years, John, in a better, painless world. Five years since his passing, Johnny, her adored sister, Maureen, dear Auntie Marge, along with many relatives and friends were waiting to warmly welcome her. Those left here on earth will miss her smile, tolerance, fortitude, forbearance, nurturing attitude, wisdom, an exceptionally strong-will and truly regal presence. They include the immediate families of son, Pete Clinch with Arlene; Bianca and Tanisha; daughter, Wendy Harms with Ian, Lisa and Dayl; son, Kevin Clinch with Elena, JJ, Sean, Ben, and Jamie; daughter, Tracy Delarosa with Art, Kaley and Devon; niece, Terry McCormick with John and Rachael. In addition to 10 adored great-grandchildren and numerous relations & lifelong friends in England. Mum (Margaret, Margie, Margo), born in Coventry, England to William and Lilian Timms, survived the bombing of Coventry in World War II; wed John in Allesley Parish in 1949; and was a personnel manager at Woolworth. In 1981, she and John made the move to America. Margaret became a citizen but still enjoyed her tea, scones, Jelly Babies, Cadbury Chocolate, and soccer. She and John managed several apartment complexes. She embraced her family and delighted in all of their accomplishments. She loved to socialize. Her family is especially grateful for all who touched and enriched her life. We are indebted to her caregivers who lavished her with kindness, treated her with dignity, and eased her pain. They cherished her "Englishness" and wry sense of humor often delivered with a twinkle in her eye. A celebration of Margarets' life will be held Friday, February 20th, 2PM, at Reflections, 2400 Washington ST NE with a reception to follow at Pete and Arlene's residence. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Arthritis Foundation @ 8100 Wyoming BLVD NE in her memory would be appreciated.
