PETERSON, ELIZABETH ANNE Elizabeth "Liz" Anne Peterson passed away February 20th, 2015, at age 78. She was the oldest sister of twelve born in Billings, MT. After helping raise her younger brothers and sisters, Liz moved to California, Utah, and Alaska. She moved to Portland, OR, Reno, NV, and Spokane, WA to raise her family. Early in life she worked as a paralegal. Always ready for adventure, she lived life full of dry wit and outstanding opinions on everything from current affairs to fashion. She was a great seamstress, an avid reader, and passed her love for cooking on to her children. She finally settled in Albuquerque, to be nearer her grandson, where she enjoyed attending the Newman Center and worked at Dillard's for 9 years. A dear mother, sister, and friend she will be deeply missed. She is survived by seven siblings; and her three children Axel Peterson, Gundar Peterson and his wife Myja, Juliette Griego and husband Benjamin; and grandson Noah Peterson.
